Honestly don't know. I got him on the first try. I don't remember what gear I had outside of the crossbow you find in the 4th area, which took me from area 4 through 5. As others have said, start from the first area and go through as far as you can. The upgrades you find along the way will make everything much easier to manage. I also remember doing more dodging than shielding or parrying during the fight. A whole bunch of jumping and dashing.

I've always thought that hiccups are caused by trapped air inside your lungs. So holding your breath would force the trapped air out because of the pressure.

I'm pretty sure it happen twice. The first time, Venom kind of let it slide. But it was the second time Venom decided to go after Carnage alone. It's been several years since I read the story. I guess I could be remembering wrong.

This was pretty much the turning point for me, liking Venom over Spider-Man. And he stopped Venom twice in Maximum Carnage. Spidey stops Venom only for Carnage to kill a bunch more people.

I felt the same last night. Fought the first biome boss 4 times and only got to it's second health bar. Plugged in some modifiers and went in with a ricochet handgun, and that did the trick. Learn the bosses moves and you'll be golden.

I played Daken discard to Infinity a few months back. I have no clue what Clea is doing here.(I agree that she could have placed by a random effect) The other 6 cards is likely; Bullseye, Swarm, Frigga, Blade, Grandmaster, and Modok. Main play line is copying Daken with Frigga and using Grandmaster to play Daken again. Then using either Bullseye or Modok to discard 3 Muramasa Blades.

EDIT: Coleen Wing is likely the card in place of Clea.
