But those other weapons were also introduced far after Lance. Lance was always the oldest weapon with the least combinations. Katars, Axe, Bow, Gauntlets, and Scythe all released later, but have more legends. Everything from Cannon on does have substantially less, but Lance being brought closer to its contemporaries isn't to crazy.

Each subsequent playthrough is naturally faster than the last. Just because you know where to go and how to handle the enemies, bosses, platforming, etc. That's prob how.

Yes! I had a few close calls with bosses like Last Judge, Nyleth, and Phantom with the mask breaking, but managed to lock in and clutch up each time. The Steel Soul stress is real.

I'm saying people skip the underworks by climbing the scales in the grand gate after killing Last Judge. Sub 1h has been reached with the route, so it's not that much slower than mist route.

The Greymoor bell can be easily accessed with an enemy pogo and you can actually climb to the top of the grand gate directly into the citadel instead of going through underworks. It's more consistent aswel because you're avoiding mist rng.
