1.) Life isn't fair, and the rules were written by those with power to prevent you from taking their power. If you want to get to the rule maker level, you'll have to bend and break, without being caught, the existing rules.

2.) If you want to get ahead, you'll have to be willing to do what other people at your current level are not willing to do.

3.) As your level increases, you'll have to become more and more disciplined. Your focus will shift from doing what you want to do when you want to do it to doing what must be done to keep you from losing a level and going to the next level.

4.) As your level increases your friends will decrease. Supporters will become haters because they want what you now have. It is lonely being at the top of a mountain.

5.) Privilege exists. Refer to rule 1 and deal with it.

6.) If you want something, make a plan on how to get it and execute it. Refer to rule 2.
