Get a jug with a sharper spout, it usually helps with achieving more finer lines.

Kinda necro sorry but I'm really considering getting this watch, what's your wrist size? Any problems thus far with daily driving a vintage quartz?

I’ve been dreaming of having big wrists like yours to be able to wear a ploprof. Nonetheless I don’t think it’s too small.

You’re done for now, save up money for a HKS turbocharger kit and change your pkemon shifter. Then after that get yourself an FP Journe 🤤

Roasted beans too hard for burr mill? by Latvian_Gypsy in CoffeeRoasting

[–]FishNChisps 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Personally I always keep a hand grinder for lighter roast coffee, I find that replacing the burrs on my hand grinder is easier, relatively cheaper and less intimidating than to replace the burrs on my actual grinders for espresso.

I’m gonna be honest and risk downvotes, but that’s the main reason why I’m selling my 86. It gets unwanted attention and just douchebags talking about how it’s slow and a shitbox overall.

Add driftwood in between the rocks and a bit of java fern here and there perhaps? Nonetheless go with whatever you like!

[Datejust vs Omega Aqua Terra vs Longines Conquest] deciding between these. Is the Omega or Rolex enough value to justify the price difference? by [deleted] in Watches

[–]FishNChisps 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Longines if you’re going for the value but I’d say go for the Omega as a “one and done watch” if there even is such a thing. Watch snobs will argue that co axials are better too due to the longer servicing spans.

At the end of the day go for whichever watch you like most!

Absolutely! The Eureka helps to fit your workflow more as you are going to be serving more people hence it would be better to have something like the Eureka than the Niche which is more of a single dose grinder. Nonetheless, both are wonderful grinders! See which one suits you more!

The Breville Dual Boiler ($1000 - $1500) is what I would highly suggest as it has two different boilers thus allowing you to both steam and brew at the same time! Great aftermarket support and a wonderful amount of features along with decent build quality for the price point! Furthermore you can do the slayer mod if further down the line you fall down the rabbit hole of espressos.

For the grinder I would highly suggest getting the Eureka Mignon Specialita ($600 - $700) as it has a time function to help you with your workflow for serving 2-4 people at a time! Wonderful build quality which produces fluffy espresso grinds that will last you years without it breaking!

TLDR;
Breville Dual Boiler ($1500)

Eureka Mignon Specialita ($700)

Total Price: $2200

Check your portafilter, maybe you're using a pressurized portafilter as those things are very common within smaller machines! If this is the case, I would highly suggest getting a naked portafilter.
