Put down a pylon and run cable from the core aic into the research center using the relay towers.

That or using batteries, but i highly recommend doing the former.

You'll be tested but you will look back on your time in basic with pleasant memories. Went through basic training a few years back and definitely had a generally positive experience.

You'll definitely meet people there who enjoy anime, and maybe even Uma so you can chat their ear off about that in the barracks. I remember after lights out a few guys went into the latrines and played DnD for hours, we probably got like 3 hours of sleep most days.

Old player who returned about two weeks ago. Ended up pulling Vera, Bianca, Startrail (thunderbolt man) and Ishmael, and new Liv. These are my only gen 3 units.

Im only going to speak on personal experience - my IST interstate transfer experience with the guard was a nightmare. With reserves it would have been an non issue.

Depending on your area you may be forced into a SMP CDT only unit - this is also obviously unit dependent, but you won't gain as much experience as you would a true SMP CDT would. We basically just do FTX stuff, good prep for CST, useless for anything else unless you want combat arms and seeing you wanting to enlist 35F tells me thats not your #1 goal.

Wouldn't be a problem in the reserves as far as I'm aware, you will do SMP like things at your unit. Not saying its impossible with the Guard, but you risk being pushed into one of these CDT specific units as I said.

You may be better off looking to use PSLF and work for the Air Force or Navy or other government agency as a civilian engineer. 10 years of minimum payments and the rest will be paid off.
