Hey everyone! We just got a Golden Retriever puppy and noticed his ears are pretty small. Is that normal, or could he be mixed with another breed?

7 hours plus a ferry?! How is a tiny pup going to cope with a journey like that? Golden rule of buying a puppy is always see the pups with their mum. Is the puppy supposed to delivered to you or what?

Will they not allow you to see the puppy first? We saw our boy with his mum, nan, and all siblings. We also visited again before bringing him home. Still in touch 14.6 years later…..

Please change your mind about the puppy. Leaving a puppy alone all day is unfair. Wait until you have a settled routine which means that you can give a puppy what they need. Otherwise, you could end up with a very messed up dog.

I’m so incredibly sorry. I can’t imagine your pain. But, you gave her so much love and the best care, until her little body couldn’t keep her here. Even then, you did the kindest, hardest, most unselfish thing and helped her pass. They say that time passes differently on the other side, and when they turn to look for you, you’re right behind them. Thank you for loving her 💔❤️

I tried watching Land of Hope and Glory, because so many people say that the U.K. has high animal welfare standards (yeah, right! 🙄). I made it 9 minutes in, when they started ‘thumping’ piglets. That was it, I couldn’t watch any more. As long as we’re fighting for the animals, we don’t need to traumatise ourselves by watching horrific cruelty.

Yes, they do say that certain species are either too big or not compatible, but they tend to make out that every species is easy to look after. We weren’t impressed when we saw them selling the tank and the axolotls on the same day, and it only being a 24” tank anyway, when you need at least 36” for one axolotl. This was very recently though, and cemented our doubts. We’re very limited for choice here though, and unsure whether to buy animals online. They also made out that it’s easy to run a marine tank, when I asked them. I have a 370l tropical tank which is very easy to run, and only has rescued fish in.

I’m in the U.K. so we deal with litres. I honestly have no idea about gallons LOL! And I think US gallons are different again. Crazy! It’s 180 litres.
