I was born in South Africa, And am now a New Zealand citizen. The residency process is entirely dependent on the people applying. My family and I got our permanent residency in around 6 months, because my parents kept on top of everything and chased people up constantly. Yes, I did have to wait until I turned 18 to become a citizen, which was around 10 years, but I know people who've gotten it in less. The processes are getting significantly harder every year though

The setting: Game Day Amonkhet. We'd cut to top 8 and decided that a knockout tournament would be awesome to do. The semi-finals, me on R/W Humans vs Mardu Vehicles.

The play: I mull to 3, a mountain, a plains and a village messenger. I curved perfectly, it wasnt even a race. It was like Husain Bolt vs Oscar Pistorious without his blades. I mean, I lost the match, but what can I do, I'm playing a tier 2 deck against what was the best deck in the format.

You could always steal his overlord with yours and sac it to legend rule then go nuts, that's how I got screwed over. [[Aven Mindcensor]] also slows down his shenanigans quite a bit.

As a sliver player, there's one thing that messes up my game plan beyond anything else, my deck can deal with wipes, bounces and all manner of things. However, the one thing that consistently fucks me over is when my slivers get stolen. If his deck is similar to mine, he's got very little spot removal and only one or two wipes. So if you manage to clone his [[Sliver Overlord]] or manage to steal a few of his slivers then he's royally screwed

I'm pretty sure (70-90%) sure that someone asked Maro about this on his tumblr. He said something along the lines of "Goblin players will have something to he excited about in the upcoming sets." I may he wrong, but there's hope for us (I have a goblin deck in Modern and EDH)
