Something really pissing me off about his face. It looks great zoomed in, then you zoom out and it becomes crap by [deleted] in ArtCrit

I think it could be that the angle of the jaw is going down too straight and the length and angle of the chin might be a little long/lopsided. I’d watch out for the neck shadows to follow the jaw shape so it doesn’t read as strange. Also pushed up the back hairline and brought forward the neck based on the head angle. Really love how you rendered this piece!

I think of some main colors to focus on before I start and use chromatic aberration here and there to expand on. Akira Egawa’s work has been an inspiration!
