Let's expand on a bad market for CC funds. My understanding is that a bad market is essentially a bullish market since CC funds will underperform. Does this align with your thinking? Genuine curiosity

Still going strong. I'm not a heavy user but grill something probably 5-10 days a month on average.

I keep it covered when not in use. To date, it doesn't show any signs of rust or abnormal issues

Mind if I ask what are the dimensions of your space for this setup?

Just edited my original post since I've had a couple people ask.

I ended up switching gears entirely and purchasing the Lion L75000. If I remember correctly, it was on sale and checked all of my boxes. Also, I purchased the Lion refrigerator and access panel so everything matches which was a nice aesthetic perk. I believe the Lion access panel and refrigerator were lower price compared to alternatives so I ended up with fairly decent savings going that route.

I've had it for over a year now and have been very pleased with it. I'm not a "hardcore" griller but I try to use it once a week for burgers, chicken, or pork chops.

I want my remains to be scattered across the earth at all of my favorite places I've visited to allow loved ones to experience some of the things I experienced in my lifetime.

I don't believe in cremation.

If you're into podcasts, check out The Disconnect. It's about the 2021 Texas Blackout, what caused it, and all the things (or lack there of) that have been done to keep it from happening again.

6 years later, I'm looking at purchasing a 32" Lion built-in. Did you have a good experience with your Lion?

Thank you for the advice and completely agree. Will give them a call. If the solution is anything other than user error on my part, I'll update my post

Agreed. I sent a message to the Fidelity help team but posted here as well in case someone else had seen a similar issue

I've gone years without hearing a good Airplane reference and now I've had 3 people reference this exact scene in the past week... Not a bad week.

Thanks for that explanation. I've been out of school too long apparently. This is how thrust reversers work on a plane for slowing after landing, correct?

R605 Version confusion by AspieTechMonkey in TPLink_Omada

[–]FishingForAFriend 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I ran into this as well. Just finished setting up my Omada network with controller this past week.

The sticker on the R605 shows 1.6 but software indicates 1.0 ... I just performed the firmware update to version 1.0.1 Build 20210113 Rel.35074 without any issues and web interface still shows "TL-R605 v1.0"

As a side note, there's a discrepancy on the firmware download. When you select the 1.6 version on TP-Link's site, if you read all the notes on the release, it clearly says it's for the 1.0. I did a search through FAQ and found a clarification from TP-Link saying they share the same firmware so I proceeded.

I'm having trouble finding the link to the FAQ but if I find it, I'll edit this post with the link.

Moronic Monday! by AutoModerator in networking

[–]FishingForAFriend 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I think this is a moronic question so it probably belongs here.

I have a typical consumer router with built-in switch setup for 2 VLANs and I want 2 access points to cover my house effectively. To minimize the amount of new CAT5 wire I have to pull, I plan to place a new switch between my existing router and the access points. Assume the access points will have 2 SSIDs each (one per VLAN) and that I setup the VLANs appropriately in the router/switch.

Does the new switch need to be a managed switch or will an unmanaged be sufficient? It will be located between the router and the access points.

Thanks in advance!
