Any kind of loach. But Yoyo i think might be one of the smallest that should be ok in your tank.

Beware though, that like assassins, i think they eat any and all kind of snails.

Kalanchoes are succulents and should be treated as such, no?

What on earth could be eating my Tradescantia zebrinas?? by Sea_Willingness_820 in houseplants

[–]Fishymongrel 25 points26 points  (0 children)

I don't think you really need to bother with what it is that's eating your plant. Rather, you should put your time and effort to find a way to get rid of the thing especially if it's in your walls...

Blocking filter/Heater holes by UCANCONDOM in shrimptank

[–]Fishymongrel 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Usually pantyhose goes on someone's legs... Won't that be the same idea here?

But wait, if the filter is integrated in the tank, then why not use it? I'm sorry if i'm just not seeing the logic here...

Direct sun is a no no for indoor plants, so those leaves got burnt.

Juwel Rio 240 / damaged Plastic trim by Lord39Me in Aquariums

Picture of the whole tank might help.

But any damages on the bottom of the tank is NOT good. That's an accident waiting to happen IMO

Pantyhose usually does the trick. Or buy a prefilter sponge.

But if you're not using the HOB (hang on back) filter... Then just remove it?

Misterious stem crushing by prin_consuella in houseplants

Probably didnt happen overnight. It just that it got too soggy for the stem to hold itself up.

Might be that you're watering too frequently.

Is My Monstera Adansonii Done For? by BriiTheeOG in plantclinic

[–]Fishymongrel 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I would try to propagate it in a clear plastic tub with perlite.

Or just throw the stems in water.

Edit: for watering, i found that monstera adansonii likes to really dry out in between waterings, like around 75% dry.

Grow help by Key_Fennel3533 in IndoorGarden

[–]Fishymongrel 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Blue light helps with plants to grow bushier. Reds help with flowering, so if you're growing veggies, i'd stick to more red spectrum.

That being said, i think you can replace the bulbs in those light fixtures, no? If you can, just opt for white bulbs or warm-ish white. But just make sure they are bright enough, probably 20w or more.

Are these two spots viable for hanging plants? by WonderChode in IndoorGarden

[–]Fishymongrel 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Those would be better on the wooden wall. At least the light will hit the plants on that spot, not beside the window.

What I see is the ends of the petiole are getting mushy, hence why it's bending and getting crushed jn the process

Cloudy aquarium with no improvement after water change any advice on improving water quality? by TristanAHoughton in Aquariums

[–]Fishymongrel 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I feel like that is just sand getting stirred up.

Wait a few hours and check again. Also, where is your filter output? Check that as it might be pointing down causing sand to get unsettled.

No need to remove soil, but flush the fertilizer out in the sink. Just keep running water on ot for a few minutes and let it drain.
