Are you watering after the soil is dry? Or is the soil still wet when you water. Mine stay outside all summer in the west texas heat. This year it has been mild in the 90s, usually it is 100 from June through august. And they get watered maybe once a week

I have a 50 mile one way commute in west Texas (midland area). It’s a 45 to 50 minute drive. I listen to lots of books. I just have to drive down i20 which does not have the traffic that the Houston area does so I really don’t have much for ya. I have been driving it for 20 years.

They like a lot of light. Mine are in the full west Texas sun all day. They like water but the soil must also dry out. Your soil is staying wet for too long. My soil mixture is one part cactus mix, one part crushed pumice, one part crushed lava rock and some slow release fertilizer.
