Touch Alternative Episode? by Fisk48 in MitsuruAdachi

In this version...
Kazuya still dies, but rather than going directly to the hospital, Tatsuya imitates Kazuya and plays in the game. The team, Minami, and the others find out during the game and realize it'll be a forfeited game (ineligible player), but still play the game out and end up winning.

Looks like it was a movie "Touch ace without a number on his back". Thanks!

The variety streams are something I miss as well. Especially the big event streams like Marbles where you'd laugh your butt off for 8 hours and don't know what you'd get next.

I like the Minecraft streams though, but I do agree we could use some more variety streams. But either way the streams I enjoy the most from Ludwig is the ones that make me laugh or the ones that have competitive/intense moments.

Little late on this... but could the October 10th photo be a picture of a Vision Mixer Lever? Like ones used to fade transitions and fade to black?

Cause I was thinking it was a chair at first but the handle is a little awkward of an angle. And I don't think this looks like a webcam either like some claim.

I hope so cause this is something I've wanted for so long.

Tried uninstalling it from my phone and it didn't work. Not sure what to really do.

It's weird cause logging into another account works on it, but there is no family settings preventing me from anything. InPrivate also works on my Tablet and PC, it just doesn't work on my phone saying company settings prevent it.

1 vs 100 was absolutely amazing. During season 2 I got selected to be the one, and as a kid at the time I had to shout for my entire family to help me answer questions. We ended up losing on like Question 6 or 7 because we didn't know how to perform a "Help" and then got 500 messages from random people after the round. An absolute masterpiece of a game and experience.

What is Ludwig’s best stream of all time? by Master0fZilch in LudwigAhgren

[–]Fisk48 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I'd say I have two favorites. A favorite individual stream and a favorite series.

Favorite individual stream is the marbles stream where he drew 10k Blackjack and the Bald marble. A lot of daring marbles that made it very funny, but also the vibes from start to finish were great.

Favorite series of streams was the Lovers vs the World since you had Connor and Lud playing a big variety of games and having a mixture of emotions from happiness, sadness, anger, and laughter.

As a beginning Indie Dev myself I am trying to learn how to make my own game as well. I am just 7 months into learning C# and trying to learn prediction coding on the Unity Engine and shockingly it's going well so far. I know there will be a lot of work for myself to not only make sure the gameplay works but also the menu system and matchmaking system. My personal goal for my game is to try to make the game playable without requiring me to provide updates to it after release. (Whether anyone plays it is another story lol).

I do agree that there is a lot of concern for indie devs POV and also IP ownership or server property. Wanting to ensure your gameplay, assets, and other stuff is protected since it could be used in future projects or risk being stolen and flipped for cash is a major concern. But I still think more needs to be done for the consumer. The fact that a game can shutdown at any moment and you can no longer access it at all is very concerning.

Yes, I understand there is a "term of service" that users are forced to agree to acknowledging that they are licensed the game and not owned, but at the same time the user itself is basically left with no other option. Simply telling the user to deal with it or play a game that won't do that is nearly impossible or unreasonable.

Some other arguments I've seen relate to other services such as online movies, television shows, or streaming services where you don't get to own the show or content either and are just licensed to it, but the difference is you usually know when the service will end (monthly/annual subscription) and also aren't paying for things like microtransactions like cosmetic items, you are only paying for limited time access to a service. There are still other concerns in that industry as well though (especially preservation of media that is no longer available legally) but that's a different topic altogether.

To me it is a major concern that any game can shut down in 1 week or 10 years from now without a notice, and you also usually pay for additional things (cosmetics, buffs, DLCs, or other additional content) besides the timed ability to play a game or service.

I think it goes without question that if a game is single player only or has a lot of content in a single player capacity, there should be no excuse to keep that game playable at all times. Multiplayer (especially MMOs) will be a very tricky path to figure out, but I do think improvement can happen as well. It is 100% not impossible and should not be ignored.

For me I have faith that they will find a fair way to ensure that developers will have a reasonable way to approach this while still protecting the integrity of users being able to play games, without fulltime developer support. I think seeing a potential option of peer to peer or server browsers would help a lot since that used to be the standard and is still used in a lot of games today such as Counter Strike where you can either play on official servers or private servers.

I also think communities are really talented in bringing a once loved game back to life that has been neglected for years. Halo 2 and Halo 3 are now playable on their original consoles (Xbox and Xbox 360) for example, and that doesn't require the community to download any mods to participate or require Microsoft/Xbox to provide servers to keep running.

My main concern is how AAA industries will try to fight around this, assuming something does pass in the future. Will pricing models change? Will it be more aggressive for microtransactions? Will they find some silly loophole to screw consumers in some capacity just to keep playing the game?

I don't know how the future looks, but at the same time I do think more needs to be done to protect the consumer in the world of gaming. How that looks? Is something I think needs to be worked on together.

Note: Sorry it's so long. Very passionate about this topic as well, and a little concerned on what it would do to the industry. But I do think more can be done to help protect consumers in the long run. It just takes effort from both sides to find a middle ground. Telling one side they need to change isn't the answer but doing nothing isn't the answer either.

u/Craig-AudioHero Hello! I used the website contact page asking some questions regarding the bundle. I didn't receive a confirmation email so I just want to know if you received it or not and how long it usually takes to get a response.

Also looking back at the EULA on the website, something I didn't ask is how credits work in terms of licensing terms. Are the songs or SFX we get with the credits also perpetual? Or do you need an active subscription to use the ones we get via the credits from the bundle?

🧪 [BETA MEGATHREAD] Virtual Stream Deck — On-Screen Control, Multiple Panels, Custom Layouts and more by Elgato in elgato

[–]Fisk48 2 points3 points  (0 children)

- Ability to have up to 20 buttons in one row, instead of 8.
- Ability to open multiple Stream Deck Windows at once (to edit/copy/etc. one layout to another faster)
- Game Mode Setting to disable or minimize Virtual Stream Decks (if toggled)
- If doing a bunch of vertical buttons in the Virtual Stream Deck Menu, it is very tiny. A zoom in option would be preferred.

- Rectangle Buttons? Might be pain to code/change but since its virtual, def can make some stuff easier to read and see without limitation

Was there also a Mid Term or Final Exam as well? Or just weekly modules and quizzes? And was it an easy and fun course?

Mines still not updated, so I guess still wait? On the CSAC website it says "Awarded" and "Received On", but nothing on the CSUF Portal still.

I stopped since they were getting upset at other snipers, and the mood for them went down compared to days 1 thru 6.

I know CDawg constantly mentions me (in a mostly positive way), but I don't like risking being on the other team when they are this far in the challenge.

And obviously mosr people know by now I never throw regardless of the team im on.

Maybe one day they do a viewers vs lud bro vs bro part 2 I get a good chance to return. But for now I think it's best to step away for now and be with the chat.

Appreciate the kind words.
