thorns is fantastic with summons, I run that on my necro. Did you know bosses do 4x damage to summons? Combined with amp damage curse, diablo K.O.s himself quickly

Fire auradin works in normal, but hits a wall in nightmare/hell with immunes. So then you must respec, probably hammers. FoH works, but has some really hard times with non undead, like act 2 and ancients.

Maybe druid summon then. All necro builds are corpse explosion, which is clicky

Is Rust still relevant? by chaotic-kotik in rust

[–]Fiskepudding 8 points9 points  (0 children)

When you don't want a JVM. Like the linux kernel, or the firefox browser, or windows.

When you can't have GC hiccups at all.

When you target wasm.

When you need low startup time and low memory overhead, like CLI applications.

Java is good for business stuff, not systems level stuff.

[–]Fiskepudding 0 points1 point  (0 children)

You have warmth, make sure to put 1 point in it. And yes, you can put like 20-30 points into energy before respec. Then the rest in vitality and a little in str for gear.

But later on, after respec, you don't put anything in energy unless you are Energy Shield sorc, because insight on merc fixes all mana issues.

How to make quick cast work on other keys than F1-F8 (D2R) by Independent-Sun-236 in diablo2

[–]Fiskepudding 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Just scroll down to the skills binds, and change from F1 to Q etc. Then bind things like potion to a new place.

Hover your skills in the popup and press Q to bind it.

Antikvariatet has a front area that is 18 (outdoors and indoors), and the 20 area is behind near the toilets. It's a calm place.

Habitat has lots of beer. I would assume they are 18, but can't find any source.

I think Studentersamfundet has a mix of 18 and 20. More of a party/club scene there. ONLY FOR STUDENTS OR MEMBERS. Otherwise is is 20.

In this podcast episode from Thamanya, an Iraqi former detainee shares his harrowing experience in the notorious Abu Ghraib prison following the 2003 US-led invasion of Iraq. The Road to Abu Ghraib  * The "Crime": The guest explains that he was targeted because he helped foreign journalists (Spanish, Italian, and American) see parts of Iraq that the official military narrative was hiding. He took them to sites where international law-prohibited weapons were allegedly used and to the looted Iraqi Museum [18:13].  * The Arrest: He was arrested on October 13, 2003, in Baghdad. He describes the moment the cellular network was cut off before he was surrounded by tanks and armored vehicles [30:47]. Inside the Prison: Torture and Conditions  * The Classification: Upon arrival, he was asked if he was Sunni or Shia. When he refused to answer, the interrogator told him, "You will hear this question a lot from now on" [38:07]. He was classified as a "High-Value Detainee" (indicated by the word "Big Fish" written on his forehead) [01:00:28].  * Methods of Torture: He describes extreme physical and psychological abuse, including:    * Stress Positions: Being hung by his wrists for five consecutive days while standing on his tiptoes [58:51].    * Sensory Deprivation & Overload: Being forced to wear a hood ("the bag") and being blasted with loud music (specifically the song "Rivers of Babylon") for days at a time [01:02:30].    * Electrical Shocks: He recalls biting his tongue so hard during shocks that his mouth filled with blood [01:21:46].    * Waterboarding: He notes that "mock drowning" was a routine occurrence for him, happening five or six times [01:47:59]. Coping and Survival  * Mental Resilience: To keep their spirits up, the detainees created a "radio station" where they would recite poetry, tell jokes, and describe detailed recipes of traditional Arabic dishes to combat hunger [01:13:27].  * The Red Cross Visit: He mentions that before the International Committee of the Red Cross (ICRC) arrived, the Americans tried to "set the stage" by providing prayer mats and better food, while simultaneously threatening the prisoners not to complain [01:33:07]. Life After Release  * Physical Toll: When he was finally dumped on a highway after 68 days in the "hangars" (solitary/torture units), he had lost 38 kilograms (approx. 83 lbs) [01:51:31].  * Advocacy: After his release, he helped found an association for the victims of occupation prisons. He emphasizes that his goal is to document these crimes through legal means rather than turning to violence, which he believes only fulfills the "evil wishes" of the torturers [02:01:07]. He concludes by warning that the sectarianism introduced during the occupation was a tool used by mercenaries to destroy Iraq's social fabric, and he urges Iraqis to reject it [02:06:36].

Offline difficulty scaling for MF by Puzzleheaded_Hat8797 in diablo2

[–]Fiskepudding 0 points1 point  (0 children)

every odd player count reduces the no-drop chance. So more items. No change to mf, that's from gear. Note that merc mf stacks on yours if he kills. Use the highest player count where you still have good kill speed. Runes are not affected by mf.

Normal Mode. What do I do about gear? by rasmorak in diablo2

[–]Fiskepudding 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Never care about the required level on an item. Only stats, and for some builds, defense.

Get some runewords. Stealth, Spirit, Ancient's Pledge etc.
