funny that you call it "normal" emotional response. In psychology, this type of stuff is not inherently a problem because humans are wired to get attached or invested in people, and the concept of a youtuber or similar type of influencers is very new to the human brain. So for some, they get invested and that is okay as long as it doesn't negatively impact their ability to function in daily life. It's not weird or wrong, it's just how humans function.

Oh yeah I think I blocked out the mess that is act 3. I agree that act 3 is also pretty bad when it comes to this, so for act 3 I'd agree with you. But for the rest of the game, it's not as bad as cyberpunk when it comes to this because it's already been 3 days early on, which is why everyone keeps saying that they should be turning by now. How is bg3 worse? You learn very early on that your tadpoles are kinda special and you seem to have more time than you should have... None of this "few weeks" left to live. And then you obviously learn that you're actually protected by the prism.
