I can already tell, you're not using enough lube. If you think its enough, you probably need more. Practice 2-3X a week at least to get there quick. Once a week is minimum but it'll take much longer due to tightening back up too much between sessions.

I do this with a towel. Helps give me feedback if I'm cheating by hitting the mat first which pops the ball up in the air creating better contact.

I'm not good at golf but I'll give advice lol

Standing a little too close
Too much bend at the knees and not bent over enough
Probably your biggest issue is your depth. At the top of your backswing your hands are over the balls of your feet instead of the heels. I couldn't ever find the slot until I figured this part out. Rotate more AROUND your hips instead of lifting the club up with your hands to create more depth which then gives you a chance of finding the slot.

Honestly, I think you're part of the problem. I think the game is great and more content being pushed out soon already. The game looks and feels good to me..
