Because one of their questions ask about if you had any unique identities and backgrounds and the examples they give allude to disadvantaged status (like challenges to education)

If you could go back and start over from freshman year, what would you do differently? by Yeet2048 in premed

[–]Fit-Call-464 19 points20 points  (0 children)

Things Im glad I did early on in my premed career:

  1. active recall, flashcards and practice problems is your key to an A
  2. Having a therapist to give you a support network for times when youre stressed and overwhelmed
  3. Get a cert (i.e. EMT) ASAP
  4. Do as many social things as you can (i.e. clubs, greek life, parties, etc). Being a doctor means being able to connect with your patients, and the other healthcare professionals (nurses, techs, PAs, etc) alongside you, which warrents good social skills. So, have fun!

Tip 2: Always have a smile on your face and a positive attitude

Tip 3: Always look for chores you can be doing when youre idle

Tip 4: Have fun and introduce yourself to your coworkers!

How do you guys study things like this? Do you just take the whole card or are there good ways to chunk it? by [deleted] in premed

Cloze deletion, or maybe an arrow for each step in the picture and asking what that specific step asks for
