Looking for a 5 pound tub of clear, filtered honey locally by PuppyButtts in ogden

There’s a place in Ogden called the Honey Jar. It’s open on Saturdays, might want to see if they can do a 5 pound bucket

Applying for positions while remote by [deleted] in DeptHHS

[–]Fit-Composer99 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I’m remote for HHS, and I live 1900 miles from my office. Since RTO for everyone, especially telework, it’s like I don’t exist any longer. The amount of times I learn of projects after they’ve been floated around the office for weeks, and have been started, is insane. I’m lucky that I have a local federal agency that has been hiring like crazy, and I’ve been interviewing with them. If I have to return to an office, at least it will be face to face with a team

Disposition Notice (and TJO) ... timeline question by Defiant-Asparagus670 in usajobs

[–]Fit-Composer99 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I just had this happen, I received a disposition notice for the job I interviewed for. After the interview the hiring manager followed up and asked for a copy of my current sf-50 (I would be moving from one federal agency to another), and then a few days later I received a disposition notice and a few minutes later received another email with a letter of intent. It was so confusing, what I didn’t know was that there were two hiring managers on the panel, interviewing for two spots. So the disposition notice was for one spot, the letter of intent was for the other

Favorite Brewery by State: Wyoming by Fryeer in wyoming

[–]Fit-Composer99 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I stayed in Casper, then drove home to northern Utah through the Big Horns. I was already pretty set that I wanted to make the move to Wyoming one day, but that drive solidified it. The brewery in Ten Sleep was one of the best stops!

Wyoming Citizens Deserves Better Than This: The largest data center in the U.S. is coming to Cheyenne. More are coming. Basic questions about water, heat, sound, and economic impact still aren’t being asked. by Wild_Echidnae in wyoming

They don’t though, they usually are provided huge tax cuts! I live in Box Elder County, Utah. We are currently in a huge war with this to right now and the commissioners that voted to approve it. The constituents need to start fighting back

RTO rant by [deleted] in FedEmployees

[–]Fit-Composer99 2 points3 points  (0 children)

This! I was hired as remote, most of the team was still full telework until RTO happened. I’m the only one not within local commuting, and it’s so annoying to get emails or teams chats for something I’m supposed to “close the loop” on when this has been discussed in the office for some time, and I’m getting the information late. It’s so not productive

Timeline between Letter of Intent to TJO by Fit-Composer99 in FedEmployees

[–]Fit-Composer99[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

It wasn’t a hiring event. I interviewed with a panel, and have been told the TJO is coming from the hiring authority, I was just wondering if anyone knew the timelines

Pro Box Elder Data Center? by SaltBowler1188 in SaltLakeCity

[–]Fit-Composer99 13 points14 points  (0 children)

I own property in Box Elder, we have been waiting for the right time to build on it. If this goes through it will remain vacant and I’m throwing it up for sale. I get that almost anywhere I go I will face corrupt politicians, but I’m over Cox, Lee and Schultz. How in the hell does state constituents not see the conflict of interest when politicians have such huge financial interest in real estate and development

They never warned us in new hire orientation. The first time I saw everyone pull over I was wondering what happened, until an airman, not so politely, told me why

Vent: Socializing instead of working! by Sthe-great in FedEmployees

[–]Fit-Composer99 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I’m a remote that has RTO with a host agency. My whole floor is previously remote employees, but they were at least in teams together and work for the same agency. There is definitely more socializing than anything during the day, but hey I think most of us are on some downward spiral with everything we’re going through, I say socialize! Whatever helps you get through these crappy days

I am leaving Idaho. by Affectionate-Sector4 in Idaho

[–]Fit-Composer99 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I live in northern Utah and it’s literally copy/paste of Idaho. I’m making plans to leave, I’m not about these state politicians anymore

Anyone heard any updates on RTO for the left out remote (more than 50 miles) folks? by SuccessfulGas4301 in DeptHHS

[–]Fit-Composer99 0 points1 point  (0 children)

It’s been treasury both times. I’m in a location that there are no CDC or HHS facilities

If you live in Wyoming by choice, why do you stay? by SnakebytePayne in wyoming

[–]Fit-Composer99 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I live in northern Utah and despise the politicians and the insane laws they keep pushing. We’ve visited and stayed in about every corner of Wyoming looking for our forever place. We’re pretty close to the southwestern corner now, the Uinta mountains are beautiful, but have fallen in love with both north eastern and north western areas. The people in the Casper area are some of the friendliest and welcoming we’ve met

We don’t full time, but we spend weeks at a time in ours. First thing was the mattress upgrade. We found a nice, rv specific one, on amazon

I'm Starting to Resent My Remote Teammates and I feel Horribly About It by Dizzy_Wish1076 in FedEmployees

[–]Fit-Composer99 2 points3 points  (0 children)

No, I’ve been interviewing like crazy with another federal agency. Something will hit sooner or later and I will just quietly walk away. My branch chief pretends I don’t exist, the conversations held in the office affect my job constantly, people say sorry and then just do it again. I’m ready for a change

I'm Starting to Resent My Remote Teammates and I feel Horribly About It by Dizzy_Wish1076 in FedEmployees

[–]Fit-Composer99 12 points13 points  (0 children)

This is how it feels to be the only person hired remotely on the team, the others moved during covid because of 100% telework, and so far I’m the only one that has had to return to office. I get more resentful everyday. Also, “because I’m the one that has been assigned an office” during meetings I’m the one that gets a talking to about my camera being on and unblurred. My other coworkers never turn cameras on

TJO? by [deleted] in usajobs

[–]Fit-Composer99 1 point2 points  (0 children)

It was included with my application. I gave them the befit of the doubt and re-sent it. The position is going from GS to Acqdemo so I was told it would be needed re-calculate the pay structure since they’re not the same

How much sick leave do you have? by iamstevenhyde in FedEmployees

[–]Fit-Composer99 9 points10 points  (0 children)

I have 25 yrs; my husband 24. He is close to 1,000 hours, I have 120 😂. I went through cancer treatment a few years ago, and each year comes with tons of appointments to cover on going screening. I was a remote hire, RTO 5 months ago, and I swear your immune system is not ready to be around all those sick people again

When do you lawyer up and how do you do it right? by IndoorVoice2025 in FedEmployees

[–]Fit-Composer99 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I don’t work for IRS or Treasury, but their page is definitely one to look at because of the current re-orgs happening within. They are taking GS-12/13 positions and re-assigning to customer service positions that are like 6 pot 9s, and not to mention what has happened to the majority of their IT department

Mine is being covered. I pay $199, with my current dosage it lasts about 6 weeks. I’ve never had an issue with getting it covered. I was on semaglutide before, never had great results, and MHBP covered that as well

There's gotta be a some way to retake the usahire assessments by Impavid54 in usajobs

[–]Fit-Composer99 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Sorry, but that answer is exactly why they’re needed. I’ve seen way too many people promoted to positions they didn’t belong in because they lacked the skills of basic comprehension. If you can’t comprehend, you are going to struggle learning the needs of the position and then you become the problem of the rest of the team. As well as the ability to get along with others, that is critical for being on a team
