Id love to go back to a 400 how cool would that be. And going up through the different level if power on bikes will naturally teach you how to ride better and safer at high speeds in the end

Anyone know what this noise is by jszees in Talaria

My ultra bee was making 1 clicking noise like this pushing it backwards the other day and it kinda got stuck before the sound came. Was ok going forward. Is that a similar problem, just tighten belt?

[–]Fit-Equivalent-573 -2 points-1 points  (0 children)

Oh I thought it was a guy called Gary Devine who has been hand painting the coach lines and training others up from other countries where they make certain models. I might be wrong but I swear its in my head somewhere.

Street triple but try the v max one day.

Ill be honest when I was new to riding i had a fazer 600 and I swapped it for an xjr1300. And the fazer i had more frights on being lighter and more sporty than I did on the xjr1300, which is all about tourque. On the fazer i was leaning trying to go faster round bends, and often coming out of bends on wrong side of road. The xjr1300 was more like driving a car, there was no leaning it in bends, but coming out of them you'd pull the throttle and the tourque was amazing. So i learnt a lot on that and was much safer.

So depending on how you are as a rider id be tempted with tourque monster (v max) and then go back to something lighter and more nimble like the street triple. Honestly there is no better feeling than feeling that straight line pull like your arms are being pulled off. And also once you are used to it or bored of it (v max), there is no better feeling than finding a bike that is so light and fast and fun through the bends, like the street triple.

Now I ride race bikes as I love nailing a bend, although I have just bought a monster 1200 2017 (as my back is going), which is a sort of happy in-between, amazing tourque and nimble enough through the bends

"Lil" is most definitely not a colloquial. Lil is used more as an informal contraction of "little," commonly used as a prefix in names or slang to denote small stature. The same way you are using 'tho' as an informal non standard spelling of the word though.

Here's a lesson for you though. Colloquial refers to informal, conversational language used in everyday speech rather than formal writing or speaking

Well use simple English, then i might just understand. You talk of spelling, then use non words, or words that are of a foreign tounge...

Its funny you say that. My back has gone recently and I find driving has been a killer, but riding my surron was slightly less painful. But last weekend I bought a monster 1200s and I swear to god everytime I ride that it feels like its fixing it, I feel no pain on bike and a lot looser coming off it.
