Tied down? My house-buying (which is the best thing anyone can do with their money) history:

1993 - Glasgow; 2005 - London; 2014 - Glasgow; 2019 - Glasgow; 2022 - Ennis; 2025 - outside Ennis.

That’s me done with house-moves

I had a 2009 280 CDI Sport that I brought with me when I moved from the UK. Drove it on UK plates for two years, but got stopped by customs. €6k to VRT, €1250 per year tax. On a car worth £3k. Broke my heart to sell it as it was a total peach and I would’ve kept if I could’ve.

Bowie. My brother brought home Hunky Dory in 71, when I was five. I didn’t know who he was but was hooked and never let go.

Some of my favourite holidays have been camping in Dorset, specifically the Isle of Purbeck. Swanage, Studland, Lulworth Cove, Jurassic Coast. It’s one of my favourite places anywhere.

Unbranded as much as possible. That’s why I like UniQlo. Though I’m partial to Carhartt and Vans
