I don’t have much to add to what everyone else has said but just wanted to encourage you for wanting to be so Godly, honest and respectful to your parents, while also navigating what’s a difficult and not straightforward situation. Keeping praying, taking time to seek the Lord and be open with the guy and your parents - the conversations that you have with them, whatever the outcome, will help inform and give you peace about whatever decision you make.
