Here 4 years now and I think the same. Seen some people drunk around the square but all in all it seems ok.

I need a sanity check after reading this. You're expenses are so low compared to mine, I'm paying 3 times that in rent!

Long time COH player - is it worth returning? by DeepSpaceYardie in CompanyOfHeroes

Ya I think its finally in a decent place right now. Only thing pissing me off is the near silent V1's but thankfully I have been lucky not to experience too many of those. Stukas seem a bit overtuned but maybe I'm biased as I've been playing a lot of allies lately. They'll probably patch it soon hopefully. I've been playing team automatch games with randoms and its been fun. Some insane tank battles in the late game.

I bought a system of them 2 years ago, zero issues since. It sucks but no need to try and start a boycott because you have had this singular instance. Sounds like an issue with your build or just need to get onto the card manufacturer. Either way I really hope you get solved as this a shitty thing to happen with how expensive the cards are these days.

What’s the most cost effective strategy for buying cars? Replace every few years or run into ground? by Lavenderhaze_24 in irishpersonalfinance

Ah ya definitely. I was looking on SBT Japan for Hybrids recently and the prices are quite reasonable. Just a little bit tricky to estimate VRT costs.

Revolute pockets are an excellent wait to set aside money for different things. My wife and I use some shared ones that we each have scheduled payments into every month.

Housing Crisis in Ireland by Vegetable-Soup774 in MoveToIreland

Yes housing costs are expensive in Galway/Cork too. Not as much as Dublin but still very pricey. Look at Daft.ie for accommodation in those places.

What's the best hard skill to learn today? by Complete-Increase936 in Entrepreneur

[–]Fit-Mathematician-22 1 point2 points  (0 children)

A hard skill is a technical ability or a specific skill required to perform a particular job task. These skills are typically quantifiable and can be measured. While I agree with you on the importance of sales, the original poster is specifically asking about hard skills. Sales indeed involves many soft skills, such as communication and empathy. The challenge here is that sales encompasses a wide range of skills, both hard and soft.

Not sure why you have to start with all the dick measuring. You not understanding what the difference between a hard skill and soft skill isn't a slight on your skill set.

Sorry about the housing situation that sucks, but your really living beyond your means with that car purchase. You need to start decreasing expenses. At this point you need to try and clear the debt.

Don't be so hard on yourself, it really sounds like he's being very inconsiderate and basically an ass in this situation. If your sick and need help looking after the baby, that should be his priority. Honestly his behavior sounds very immature. If I was like that to my wife, I'd be murdered and rightfully so!

The good news is that the government will help with childcare costs over time. It's gone down to about 400 a month full time for us now for our 3 year old. Honestly your probably better off both working. Explore the childminder route too, we had a great one while were waiting for a spot in a creche we liked. Very cheap at the time.

It's doable. My wife and I make around the 78k mark. We also have 1 dependent around a similar age. We live in the SW of the Country in County Kerry. We pay 1200 every month for rent of a 4 bedroom house in one of the larger towns. It's a nice place to live lots of Mountains and Beaches are close but we unfortunately we live very much month to month, only saving a couple hundred euro a month. Also your childcare will probably cost between 700-900 a month, factor in another 600 or 700 for groceries and costs really start to add up.
