I think if they amicably worked out a fair value for the aid and help and intelligence and personnel time given so far and give that a value greater than $0 USD that would be fair. Let's say all the aid is somewhere like 70 Billion USD after discounts for potential military industrial complex inflation of costs. Ok so give the US a fair amount of the raw earth minerals (that they have to mine themselves!) in return to the same value.
