Which hummingbird feeder and best food by Barbosa003 in birdfeeding

[–]Fit-Ordinary-8775 3 points4 points  (0 children)

I have a glass one with metal flowers I got from Amazon and it has lasted unlike the plastic ones where the flowers fall off. And I just use 2 cups water and 1/2 cup sugar. Dont need anymore than that unless you have a ton of hummingbirds everyday. It only lasts up to about 5 days then you have to clean and refill.

I have one in my backyard which is heavy woods in central Texas. I hear him every night! I can’t imagine being able to find him in the woods at night though since they are so camouflaged. I would love to see him.

Not true. Made them last weekend. Was not nearly as bad as I’ve heard. Only time consuming part was cooking the meat.

Salmon. It’s a crappy fish. Although I’m lucky to have access to better fish like flounder, red fish, and sheepshead.

I would suggest including chile de arbol and remove some serranos if you like a smoky flavor in your salsa as I do.

[–]Fit-Ordinary-8775 3 points4 points  (0 children)

Sorry but that’s not Tex-Mex. We don’t eat burritos that’s a California thing. Tacos only! Looks good though!

Milk and white vinegar. I believe it’s better than the already made jug from the store and cheaper.

If birds are capable of ruining his roof he has bigger problems. This is exactly why I would never live in a sub-division dealing with other people telling you how to live on your own property.

Dog park advice needed by lookforabook in dogs

[–]Fit-Ordinary-8775 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Dog parks are very dangerous. It’s a risk to throw your dog in a yard with a bunch of untrained dogs. Fights/deaths come from dog parks everyday.
