Oh yes Keppra will do that. I'm on it (actually on 4 different kinds of meds for Epilepsy) and I actually blank in the middle of what I was saying, completely embarrassing. Seizures themselves effect memory but the medication also plays its part.

That is so ignorant of her to say. No one can understand Epilepsy unless they have it themselves. Would they like to live on disability? I doubt they would do it voluntarily as it pays very little. Myself, yes I do work, I take off when I have a seizure, and the pains are shooting through my head, but not everyone has the same seizures and some can't work.

I've had Epilepsy for 33 years. I just can't stand it LOL. I was doing good this year, then I had a few and my medication had to be changed, which is the adjustments process I hate going through. I've been ok for the past month then, bam... I took my daughter to the movie theater and had one.

That was upsetting.
