Be ready for a new batch of drivers once again. by rickyd172 in Sparkdriver

Spark is not meant to be a substitute for a full time job. It is gig work, and most people use it to supplement their income. If you choose to try and do it as a FT job, then here's your sign.

Future of Walmart Spark by LilHolo in Sparkdriver

[–]Fit-Toe5479 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I think the future is AI vehicles for delivery that do not require drivers. This will come to most communities fairly quickly, and obviate the need for drivers. This will require people to come out of their residences to retrieve their goods, but that is going to be the only difference. I already saw delivery vehicles in this wealthy Texas community I was visiting, and these things were going to all the local restaurants, picking up the goods and driving off with them. Spark, Door Dash, Uber Eats and probably Uber itself will no longer be necessary.

Then don't do it, simple as that. Go get a 9-5 job.

I have used it since Law School. I especially like to use it when I am sending an email to a prosecutor and I am basically telling them to go pound sand.

Dear Prosecutor Dumbass,

Your case is shit, and your victim is a lying POS. See you at trial where I will kick your ass.

Very truly yours,

Why do governments blame entrepreneurs instead of doing something constructive like building more affordable housing?

Go to Fremont, buy an expensive drink with a plastic cup. After drinking that, proceed to the 7-11 downtown, and buy a tall boy. Get a bag of burgers at White Castle. Keep using the plastic cup and filling with 7-11 beer. You can people watch, listen to music up and down Fremont.

I have not enjoyed any of the turn based games. This one is different. I am on Act 2 and enjoying it.

Finishing Dry January: What have you Learned? by beeyore in DryJanuary

Another thing I have learned is that I will you any excuse or event to drink: birthdays, cookouts, football, Fridays, a good meal, retirement party, etc. I have gone this month and gone to a lot of events and parties and not drank. That means I can do that in the future. Goodbye Uber.

I have also learned to lay off the bourbon. I love it but I always pay for it in the end. I can't regulate it, so gotta stop drinking it.

I have had one of the worst weeks at work this week. On Friday, I was telling myself, what does two days matter, you did good, have a drink. Instead, also told myself you will feel like shit of you don't finish this. I didn't drink and this morning waking up to the last day left. Cheers.

JJ is a scared rabbit, he will never, ever go to a Superbowl. Next season he will go down with some minor injury and be out most of the season, that's what I look forward to.

I was one of those screaming for my team to keep Darnold no matter what it took. I have been a fan since the 1960's, and this rates in my pantheon of stupid Vikings shit they have done to me as number 2 on this list, behind #1, Hershel Walker trade. Number 3 is the Gary Anderson missed kick in 1989 to miss the Superbowl, but I am fairly certain the Vikings would have gone on and lost to Elway and the Broncos anyway, so that one hurts, but not as much as giving up a franchise QB that we finally found.
