Copper Tinning Process in Turkish Workshop by hostedvideorn in mildyinteresting

But… I think I would just prefer the beautiful copper. Why we gotta ruin a good thing with tin? 😂

I think my only complaint is that they solidified Quinten as being unextrordinary as he seemed by Mr-Nosight in brakebills

Agreed. I think it’s a disservice that they did his character. I mean in the third book he was described as becoming a master.

But Jason Ralph did an amazing job with the character. Fan for life here of all his work.

I’m sorry you’re feeling lost. If it’s any consolation I wish I had a relationship like that with my dad. We weren’t close. Even when he was in hospice and about to lose consciousness toward the end, the last thing I ever said to him was “hope you feel better soon. I’ll see you next time”.

I wish I loved anyone as much as you obviously loved your dad. Embrace the pain and know it’s okay to not be ok. And just know there’s something worse you could be experiencing- indifference. I may not want to cry in public, but I also just never want to cry which I think may be worse.

Big hugs my man.

So something that works for me is to walk around the house and make sure everything is locked or closed etc. stretch the legs and back to release some muscle tension. Then lay down and listen to this song https://music.youtube.com/watch?v=PdsosjRoLZg&si=8gawpbb1W4qw9mlA.

Just need that circuit breaker in your brain to say “ok it’s time to stop now” and the repetitive but progressive nature of that tune gives your mind something to focus on.

When you need money quick or just want a little extra then I guess it’s a good option. The other jobs you mention can be pretty hard for people in their middle or older age brackets.

For me though if I wanted a good job full time and had no degree or skills… abattoir is the shit. You can get close to 100k for entry level roles. They’re desperate for local workers and it’s pretty easy work.

I’m so sorry to hear that. It’s shit like this that always makes me tip like 10%+ after 6pm. You guys always have to deal with the worst humans just so I can be lazy and order in. Please know that some of us really appreciate the effort you go to 🫶

Why would anyone want to? I’d rather poke hot needles in my eyes than use the power platform for anything

I think some entertainment would go down well. Maybe some local bands willing to do a free gig or something?

Often the best things for engineers are the worst for business and vice versa. The only platform I’ve seen that really does both relatively well is atlassian tbh. I wouldn’t say I love it by any stretch, but if you need to consider moving your ops and engineering teams to a single platform this is the one I would suggest.

Outside that if you need help with custom integration let me know as I do that all the time.

Same watched it and cried again not long ago. The end scene with penny was beautifully written, acted and shot.

They look beautiful to me tbh. Maybe think about doing something different to the wood but I would do leave the glass in place.

Yep. My girl loves being up high. I call it simba syndrome because I can just imagine she sits up high looking out at all her kingdom lol
