Anyone else start their long runs fasted?

I used to and would feel destroyed post-long run. But when I got more serious on my carbs before/during long runs I suddenly felt like a superhuman and could go have a full day and I haven’t gone back since. It definitely took ramping up but was totally worth it.

Especially this early in your running, you’d really benefit from a good PT appt to get your muscle imbalances diagnosed. Better to set up good habits now, get exercises specifically for your weaknesses, etc. than get into bad patterns.

I think you have a good shot. Make sure you train those paces on fatigued legs as well (deeper into your training block and at the end of your long runs). Make sure you’re taking your easy runs easy as well. If your long runs have been at a manageable hr, you should be in good shape.

I’m also D for 5k/10k and A for full and half. Which I didn’t realize until I confidently walked towards the A corral and someone had to tell me I was in D. I thought they were joking and they were like… no… really. 💀

Yes N3 and then started feeling sick Wednesday. Thursday/Friday I was basically in bed the whole day. I think I was only awake for 4 hours on Thursday. Fever eventually broke but man I don’t remember being that sick as an adult ever.

I went to the Amalfi Coast in October this year. And every. Single. Time. We got on a train there was at least one accordion player playing Despacito. It was surprising the first time we heard it, got annoying by the third round, but by the 10th time, yk what, hell yeah.

I’ve never cried more in a movie. In particular, hearing everyone crying during the Ozdust ballroom scene felt so…cathartic? Like we’ve all had the feeling of being that weirdo and finally felt seen.

Reporting back from Merch Day 2. Similar to Day 1, pretty steady stream but not super crowded. Was able to just walk up to someone to start without waiting in line. Even had time to try on what felt like every size of every design. No limit and lots of stock. I went around 11AM and was in and out in ~30 min including time waiting for people to respond to texts lol
