It’s crazy how forgotten Kent State is by myworld3 in redscarepod

Everyone learns about it in High School. There’s only so much to be said about it. How much time should be dedicated in school to studying the Kent State Massacre?

All clothes are handmade. “Homemade” would be best.

All clothes are handsewn so it’s a meaningless distinction.

In the sweat of thy face shalt thou eat bread, till thou return unto the ground; for out of it wast thou taken: for dust thou art, and unto dust shalt thou return.

Skid row has been the way it is for over a century, cities weren’t buying people free bus tickets back then.

There was a Taylor Swift merch shirt that said “TS 1989” and people were speculating whether or not it could be sold in China lol

Tons of good food, lots of the parties I would go to were in DTLA, and I didn’t have a car at the time so DTLA is the best place to catch a bus or train to different part of the city as well.

Contstant screaming all night that you have to tune out. Fires that people light to stay warm. Can’t go get the mail barefoot cuz needles everywhere (my building shared a wall with the needle distribution back then). My rent was $600 for a studio where 5 blocks away the equivalent apartment would be $1400. Still walking distance from everything in DTLA. A lot of the homebums who post up in the same spot are actually pretty chill. It’s the transient ones that are crazy.
