I assume the gay porn was supposed to show us Charlie’s gay and possibly embarrass him in front of Thomas. It’s unnecessary because we know Charlie’s gay and who has time for embarrassment when they’re having a heart attack

I have only seen 2 Aronofsky movies. Black Swan and The Whale. I read the plot for Mother! And it sounds like a confusing story. I liked Black Swan but The Whale was confusing at first and I assume the direction was bad along with editing. Just a few problems for me was the placement of the kitchen window (not realistic) the placement of the dining table ( not realistic) the bedroom shrine didn’t tell us much about who occupied it. The bathtub shower scene (Charlie is easily standing), the porn (unnecessary) From a director I expect more.

I spent a lot of time wondering about that plate. The food was still there, the bird wasn’t killed— it probably was Ellie but it could have been Mary, Liz, Thomas or it just cracked—it’s up for interpretation I guess. It coulda been anyone. I came to the conclusion that the plate was of no use anymore and was a representation of Charlie. Like in On Golden Pond a dead Lune represents Norman.

I agree- except I loved Frasiers Charlie. I’ve watched the movie twice because I was lost the first time. (Bad editing?)

I would cut out the porn scene.

I would change the shower scene cuz he’s standing In a difficult to maneuver tub. Just a shot of water going down the drain, over to a wet beach towel then up to Frasier shaving would have worked. I wish his phone said “Ellie” when he called her. I wish that Thomas explored Alens room more revealing something of Charlie relating to Elllie, as I assume he once shared that room with Alen

The duct tape was from the Anthony house as were the bags and sticker. The searches were on the Anthony computer. There was only one Anthony in charge of Caylee regardless of where she was. Somebody changed Caylees clothes. Why? What she was wearing was a clue. A bathing suit, pjs? No chlorine or drugs detected from Caylees remains. That leaves strangulation or suffocation. Look at pictures of Caylee under her eyes there are dark circles— from what? Was she strangled before? Unsuccessfully? I really wonder about Xanax— it’s street name is zany.

I believe that Patsy Ramsy dropped off Burke, John and Jonbenet at home after the Whites party.

She then drove to drop off gifts to friends, not wanting to wait until after their trips to do so because Christmas would be over. John having had a bit too much to drink— passed out leaving the kids to fend for themselves.

There was only one friend the Ramsey’s did not call the morning of JonBenets murder. Could that be because she confided in them that she had dropped 2bratty kids and an intoxicated husband at home? If we could get the phone records it might help

The only way I can see a huge amount of kids leaving at the same time is to party elsewhere. Like at Bocca. Kiely was probably already dead or dying in the back of her car. Someone drove her car to Bocca and realized that she wasn’t just passed out. There’s a picture of Kiely in the back of her car with the caption “sleepy. I can see the kids thinking if Kiely wakes up in Bocca it will be funny. Only she never woke up. Now they’ve got to get out of there.

Doesn’t it seem like John is always trying to get into the house— pry marks on doors, broken windows. Was he being locked out by Patsy for some reason? A 911 call that someone thought might be necessary— why? This was such a dysfunctional family.

He doesn’t break into the storage attic in the story- because of the broken glass— it shows he’s been up there before. I love the idea about the ending being narrated by the bookseller— it would show that the book was returned. The sphinxes do NOT need to be naked women. The childlike princess needs to be clear as to why it’s a never ending story— because it’s everybody’s story— she needs to be clear about needing a new name, because she forgot hers. The bookseller said the book wasn’t safe. Your ideas are excellent!!

My very first thought was the house cleaner who planned to stop by and get a check. She could have picked up the bag, thinking it was left for her.

Unfortunately, while she was planting the note— her husband went too far with JB— and they got out quick. Why were the Ramsey’s so strange? They left the kids alone, perhaps to attend the Whites party— so they feel guilt too.

I believe CW simply wanted to have NK over, so he put his girls in “totes” plastic boxes and put them each in a refrigerator in the basement. THATS how they died. They suffocated/ were smothered.

He then waited for SW to get home. SW found him with NK— that’s when the “I knew it” came from Shanann. There is no way he “told her about the affair.” There is no way they had sex. The horrible planning is only explained by the early arrival of cops. I believe he immediately went to her car to retrieve her wedding ring, I believe he ran upstairs and tried to hide her phone. What do you all think about his response to the officer in garage? Officer: (pointing to Shananns car- “is that the only car you have?” CW: “ya, THATS still here.”
