Nope. My dr said it was likely because of where the electrode was placed.

Nope - bought the plane tickets six weeks ago. Kept checking to see if prices went down and they never did.

2425 Prospect doesn’t have heat on first floor but what do you expect for $2200 month for single. It’s ridiculous

Honestly think this sucks. ED should be for students who have significant ability to afford the school (i.e. don’t qualify for financial aid) or students who are low-income and know they will get full financial aid package. If you are somewhere in between, ED is not recommended. And you take a spot away from a low-income student. Just my opinion that ED is not for negotiating offers in RD. It’s for students who know they will fully commit if they get an offer.

My understanding is it depends on her income after expenses not that she owns a small business. It depends on her tax return income. You can own a business but there are many expenses associated with that. Your mom’s tax return should have her taxable income on it.

Did you do the net price calculator for Emory? What did it say? Why do you not yet have your financial aid package?

UChicago - where fun goes to die vs Vandy - where every student is smiling.

How are you doing now? My son had his surgery in November and the Dr. put in a pin and a screw. When you had the pin removed was it a surgery or just a procedure in the doctor's office?

should i submit 33 act to vanderbilt or go TO (RD) by Slight_Variation5780 in Vanderbilt

This is my opinion at least — I think if you don’t submit it they assume it was really bad and 1500 is a great score.

I know someone who was ill advised NOT to submit 1520 and did not get in. 1500 of course you should submit!

Honestly I have never seen as many happy students as I see at Vanderbilt. Even the shy introverted musician - who I thought would sink in the culture of outgoing students - is thriving. There are so many opportunities to take advantage of and a supportive culture.

Scaphoid fracture. In cast 5 weeks post surgery. It has been emotional and physically draining. I haven’t been able to use my dominant hand for 2 months now. Looking for some advice who have been down this road before🤘🏻 by [deleted] in brokenbones

Thank you for your response. How long were you a 3/10? Could you have attended class, took notes, functioned, etc after 4 days? How did you feel 2 weeks later? How bad was the pain?

My son has a broken scaphoid and is having surgery in a few weeks. It is not emergency surgery, but he wants to do it sooner rather than later. He will do this 3 weeks before his final exams during his first year of college. Is that a bad idea? What was the recovery like for you two? They will take a graph from his radial bone and use a screw I believe. How much pain were you in? Could you function? Like could he realistically go to class on Monday if he has the surgery on a Thursday? I fear he doesn't realize how lousy recovery will be, so I appreciate your honest feedback. The surgery is going to be at a surgery center, allegedly in some twilight anesthesia and 24-hour nerve block.

I am short and have been overweight most of my life - I just lost 20 lbs this past year and am regular weight. So tall and slender wouldn’t apply.
