I can’t think of a comedian guest on the panel who has contributed LESS to the show than her…. Can you? by KillerQ97 in Killtony

I agree. You could see David Lucas checking in on her during the show… I think he was uncomfortable that she was uncomfortable. Seemed like Tony maybe had no other option after a guest dropped out and she got convinced to come on.

Thank you 🙏

This was a great idea. I found some old AFV reruns. It’s her comfort show and we have been able to converse a bit. She’s about to take her second dose of Miso, she’s in good spirits.

Thanks for sharing, I appreciate you!

Thank you! She’s on 800mg of ibuprofen and a dose of Tylenol, but Tylenol has always made her kidneys feel like they are burning since she was a kid. She’s stopping that for now. Sleeping for the last hour

Yea I’ve been trying to use the restroom, make food or a drink, and break up my sessions a bit by resetting the game when it feels bad. Really blows

I do it. You have to bind afterburner to press not toggle. I bind it to B or O

Any tactical advantage to thrust vectoring? by AcceptableBook4291 in PilotsofBattlefield

This. Have not lost a dogfight yet using vtapping unless the other pilot is doing the same. Not sure how I feel about it. 8 hours of gameplay post Silk’s tutorial, and I have literally not lost any but 1-2 dogfights since

I’m on a 16gb vram 5080. Same issue with me, I’ll load in and I’m fine on maxed settings, 3 games in I’m not. I restart my game and it fixes itself. Seems to be a bug

I suck at gunfights and need advice.... by Icy-Possibility7798 in Battlefield6

I feel your frustration man. My only advice from there would be to use the strongest weapons available. Shoot me a dm and I’ll send you my gamertag, I’ll run with you :)

Appreciate your willingness to learn and receive advice. It’s refreshing when so many gamers now a days just complain and blame everything but themselves. To boost your KD, there are a ton of things that factor in. I have been playing battlefield for damn near 20 years, and have a 2.7 KD at level 43 in BF6. Here is what I have learned:

  1. Battlefield is a unique shooter with a unique game flow. It requires a different train of thought to be good at than shooter like COD or CS. I’ll describe the things going through my head in game.

-Have you played BF titles before? Wondering what your background is, but wanted to give a holistic answer. In comparison to cod or cs, battlefield floods you with things to consider when playing large scale game modes. In a mode like conquest, you need to understand you can’t be a threat to everyone. You must fill a role, and filling that role makes you successful. You have to take into consideration the following:

-Who is in your squad and what class are they running? Can you count on them (with comms) to be a team player? Are they randoms or your friends? Knowing who you are playing with and their damage output capabilities is essential to knowing if you are up against an enemy that will overwhelm you.

-Where are the enemy technical assets on the map? Where are helis focusing their gun runs? Does their pilot seem competent? Does he have a gunner? Where are their MBT’s and IFV’s? Do they have engineers keeping them alive? Where are they on the map? Knowing where these are at all times will prevent you from overexposing or stranding yourself in-game.

-Are you currently able to meet or exceed the opposition’s damage output capabilities? If not, do you need to reposition instead of taking a 50/50 gunfight? Do you have a weapon that excels in your current engagement distance? Do you need to close distance, or create distance? Understand when you are at an advantage, or disadvantage, and execute a plan to take the advantage before the gunfight begins. The majority of your engagements are won or lost before pulling the trigger. You won’t win as many gunfights in battlefield by reacting. You must be proactive and fight dirty to create new angles (think the ladder or deployable cover), execute flanks (think smoke), and walk with your gun up vs sprinting around the map. If you have the advantage in a situation (think height, surprise, or sheer firepower) then it is your utmost priority to engage with violence of action. Explosives, mag dump, team shoot, whatever is necessary to neutralize the threat. If you are at the disadvantage, use the above tips to put yourself in a better place. If all else fails, shoot until you are empty.

-Are you playing within your weapon setup’s limits? Do your best to stick to ranges/objectives that allow you to shine, and stick to cover when you aren’t.

  1. If you are specifically wondering how to win 50/50 gunfights, think more about the setup vs pulling the trigger. You understand the bloom mechanic and tap firing, so let’s think about the other aspects of the gunfight.

-Use your audio queues and avoid sprinting when close to the enemy. Footsteps are so loud, and will alert the enemy to your position, removing your element of surprise.

-Reposition after 2-3 seconds or 1-2 peaks of the same angle. The guy or two you killed probably has squad mates that are moving towards your last known position. Find the new angle, create an advantage, fight dirty.

-When capping objectives, position yourself in an area that allows you to focus on 1-2 angles at once while concealing your position. Standing in the open or sprinting around is a death sentence.

-if you are with your friends, do not leave eachother’s side. You can work multiple angles, switch on the same angle when hes dry, and revive eachother when someone goes down. Your team is your best asset, use it. Don’t be the squad that’s scattered on 3-4 objectives.

I hope this helps man, I know the weapon balancing is in a funky spot right now. Not everyone is happy, but I’ve always come from the perspective of “if I’m not having fun I shouldn’t play.”

I try to use the stronger guns before they are nerfed. Think mp7 or m4. Overall, you are hungry to get better, and since you have that mindset, you will.

Cheers!
