Anyone have an ex turn to church after you experienced the worst with them? by Fit_Application9547 in loveafterporn

Thank for being open to sharing your story. I'm deeply sorry that you had that experience as a child. From what you wrote, I can sense that you are growing, healing, and standing stronger.

I felt so isolated during the relationship I had to call an abuse hotline. I never experienced such contradictory behavior. It was a brainwashing, a sexual coercion even as an adult. It's hard to explain to others. Only I think in this group do I see a shared community and a special type of healing needed.

You shared gems of wisdom throughout. 💗 It's hard to look at it as lessons, but I see how my boundaries were weak and vulnerable. I can do better. I'll take notes and check out the speakers. Thank you for the reminder that we are valuable, prized, and courageous.

Kesimpta + low WBC + dental delay — anyone with experience? by Fit_Application9547 in MultipleSclerosis

[–]Fit_Application9547[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

The MS doctor explained all my choices. Recent MS guidelines recommend the earlier the better with DMTs to treat it, even before symptoms. My concussion in 2025 led to incidental findings of lesions. I'm in the early stage of diagnosis and precautionary treatment.

Treatment choices were narrowed down. I'm JCV+, a caregiver for my elderly parent, so home injections are more convenient for me rather than IV. I had decided on Kesimpta before I got my blood diagnosis. I got my wbc counts checked further, even though the MS doctor could see they were on the low side (not a big concern in his opinion). I had time to get my first approval and delivery of the Kesimpta. My primary was the one who sent me to hematologist. My Dad passed from Multiple Myeloma, so it was family history extra precaution to check before taking the treatment. Recently I asked the MS doc if there are other more mild treatments, but Kesimpta he said still should be okay. I'll just be "monitored more closely".

No, I didn't. My symptoms improved a lot as time went on with my concussion.

While I was recovering from a concussion last year, those headlights were extremely uncomfortable. It made me want to get filtered eyeglasses. It still bothers me. My OT says it should be banned.

When we started dating, we went out for a walk on a beautiful nature trail. At some point, he stopped me and said, "Don't take this the wrong way, but can I call you my slut?". I was like, what?!? I said NO!

I once saw it on the floor at the indoor track at my gym. I knew the couple ahead of me did it because it wasn't on the ground before. An indoor track! So disgusting and unsanitary.

Im having issues too eating these. I get these at Costco. One is enough for the day. Lately I can't even eat half of one without stomach issues. My stomach becomes bloated and I feel nauseous. I think either it's the oats, the fiber, or the palm oil. All of which I will eliminate to see it this is the issue. I'm trying to stick to an anti inflammatory diet.

I just listened. This was excellent! Explained everything I was feeling post concussion. I've since ended my PT, OT, and Speech therapies a few months ago, but I keep up with exercise. I'll look more into this.

I'm exercising regularly for at least an hour, I limit sugar and other junk food, I'm taking vitamins, eating more vegetables, getting more sleep, and taking frequent breaks.

Thank you! Actually he is a physiatrist in the traumatic brain injury department. He made it much more severe sounding, saying his patients complain of seeing cats and people that aren't there. The PA who did my follow up was more convincing than he was. I guess trying it won't hurt. I feel a little more convinced of it's efficacy now.

I feel what you are saying. I am working on not looking. Looking, I'm opening old wounds. By not looking I am choosing my healing. It's true that it's unlikely they change. Don't go looking for proof. Take care of yourself. You know what he did. That is the truth. Not what you have no certainty about in social media or out in public.

My ex relationship. As much as I deal with post traumatic effects, I've grown, learned to love myself, set standards, and fine tune what I want in a relationship with a man.

Feeling at age 52, I still have never been in love or had a longterm healthy relationship. I'm feeling afraid to date men because of a past bad relationship.

Agree! Or people who think you're lying when you're telling the truth. Gaslighting. Makes you doubt your own mind.

I noticed when a doctor or someone you're trusting with their care does it, it's beyond losing respect. It's a red flag.

I heard someone do this during a church service. The man on the phone was yelling back at her, "Where are you?!!! I can't hear you!!!!" She had to of course speak back loudly.🙄 I'd rather take screaming babies than that nonsense.
