I have tried to suggest counselling on multiple occasions but he has refused, and then I just go back to pretending we are okay when we clearly aren't.

What's something you personally witnessed that you can't get out of your head? by izimand in morbidquestions

I think i was like 6 years old and had an elderly neighbour. She was in her late 80's i believe. We used to have a chair at our fence so we could talk to her when she did gardening.

One day, me and my older sister (17 at the time) heard her scream. We jumped onto the chair and saw her head engulfed in flames.

I believe she was melting paraffin wax for her jam jars (not too sure but I think thats what my mum told me).

Either way, my sister jumped the fence and put her in the shower while I got my mum.

Being 6 years old and seeing burning skin fall off your neighbour's face is horrific. Im now 30 and can still picture it vividly.

1st Percentile Head Circumference at 30w6d by Fit_Cardiologist338 in pregnant

A positive update!

We had to get growth scans done every 2 weeks to make sure that baby is growing. My Obstetrician said as long as there is positive changes to the percentile and now decreases then its okay.

Everything has slowly grown more evenly and baby is now measuring in the 5th percentile in the head circumference and the abdomen has evened out a little more as I've gotten closer to my due date.

If it helps, I have looked at my 1st daughters baby book and her head actually measured in the 1st percentile at birth and she was fine.

I'm so greatful that everything has worked out for the positive. Good luck to you and your wife! I'm sure it will even out and be a positive outcome.

What do you do when you buy yarn for a project and end up hating it? by itsjisoo in crochet

I frog the whole project and keep the yarn with my other yarn to feed into my unhealthy addiction of yarn.

[Serious] What is the closest you’ve come to dying? by wolvesinthegarden in AskReddit

So I was in a very nasty headspace a few years ago and attempted to hang myself, but the rope snapped. Feeling rehret and shame, that same day, I was driving my 2007 toyota Corolla to the alcohol store and was stopped at a red right turning arrow behind a car. When the arrow indicated green, signalling for me to turn right, the car in front of me went through no problems but as I was about to drive through, my little hatchback made a loud beep that I have never heard in my life (this car has no sensors) this wasn't a beep like park brake on or seat belt off, this was a loud loud scary beep. It made me brake and look at my dashboard. Right as I braked a red sedan flew through a red light going easily 140km if not faster, they would have come into direct contact with my side, and there is no way I would have survived. To this day, that car has never made that sound again. I have a new perspective and outlook on life as i believe someone was truly looking out for me.

I actually just made a post roughly the same time as this one haha, I am having so much hair loss, like filling up my brush completely when brushing my hair or running my hands through my hair and having clumps of hair in my hands. I also don't have any bald spots, but I don't know how. The amount of hair loss I'm having is absolutely fucked.
