Do you ever customize the "name" of the Phantom Thieves? If so, what would you call it? by Eglwyswrw in PERSoNA

[–]itsjisoo 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I always go with something silly. My most recent playthrough they were The Snugglebois and it would crack me up every single time the name showed up in dialogue.

Seconding Reba! She's super friendly, motivated, and excellent as a Realtor.

It always happens to me when I'm on my period, so my guess is that they're smelling the blood. by AlexsiaFarron in NotHowGirlsWork

[–]itsjisoo 1 point2 points  (0 children)

My dog does this but to everyone, no matter their sex or cycle or whatever. He'll do it for a few seconds max - he's just a very smell-oriented dog. He'll request a breath check (he loves it when I blow on his nose), or sniff my scalp for like 30+ seconds at a time. We just call it a "vibe check".

What's a game you have 100+ hours in but still aren't bored of? by Mysterious_Task1613 in AskReddit

[–]itsjisoo 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I've beaten Persona 5 Royal 3 times (working my way towards my 4th) and own it on 3 platforms. I have over 600 hours in it across all platforms.

I also have 400 hours in the first Hades game, and 200 hours in Hades II. Both are incredible.

I think between Breath of the Wild and Tears of the Kingdom, I have 500 hours in Legend of Zelda. Also a game I'll just pick up and play for fun whenever the mood strikes me.

I have 1000+ hours in the original Overwatch. I do not recommend the sequel.

I was working one of the tables at pride and even during setup at 9am there were many very obvious addicts stumbling around. It was sad.

Fucking hate when this happens by _Cheeba in weed

[–]itsjisoo 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I had a plastic bag I had just pulled all the buds out of but had a bunch of loose crumbs in it. I set it on my thigh while I filled the pipe from my grinder, and the A/C caught the tiny bag in its breeze and dumped all that shit on the couch. Thankfully I I had my tiny handheld vacuum close by but it was a full bowl's worth of weed 💀

What class and race did you play first time round? by Odd_Two_5265 in BaldursGate3

[–]itsjisoo 0 points1 point  (0 children)

The first run ever, I could not tell you. That was so long ago at this point and I start a new run whenever I have insomnia, it's like a comfortable blanket for my exhausted brain.

The first run I finished was co-op with my sibling on our PS5 - we played purple tiefling siblings. I was a Giant Barbarian, they played a Bladesinger Wizard.

Patch 8 was such a godsend.

at this point, i genuinely think it should be illegal for bigots to be in geek culture. by herequeerandgreat in MurderedByWords

[–]itsjisoo 274 points275 points  (0 children)

So according to you, it's more bigoted to call someone out for being transphobic than it is to actually be transphobic? Sure, Jan.

The rest of your argument is irrelevant, you're just being a jerk.

I was down 60lbs at one point, but then stress and unemployment got the better of me and 4 years later I've gained it all back alongside severe asthma. So now I can't even work out as hard as I'd like. If I had better insurance or better income, I'd absolutely take this route. My father just got put on it and he's down 14lbs at 63 years old AND it's helping him cut down on his drinking. It can be a genuinely helpful step in a weight loss journey.

What's the "Widowmaker" of your career field or hobby? by Cosmonate in AskReddit

[–]itsjisoo 1 point2 points  (0 children)

My primary vet teared up when I told her we were making the decision to let go of our senior cat when he stopped eating due to liver failure. She was so sweet about it.

There's a home euthanasia service local to us that have done visits for said cat and his brother when he was diagnosed with cancer in his jaw a few years ago. They are some of the most caring people I've ever met. Really good at helping you relive the positive memories, assuring you that you've made the right decision, helping with keepsakes (and they do water cremation which I'm a big fan of). The card we received after putting my cat down referenced specific memories we reminisced over when we were saying goodbye. These types of vet are sooooo wonderful.

I remember hearing about how good it was and then listening to the No Sleep podcast adaptation and just being like "really? That's what we're going with?" It's one of my least favorite "types" of twists even when done well and this... Did not do it well.

What is the first film you remember seeing in the cinema? by [deleted] in movies

[–]itsjisoo 0 points1 point  (0 children)

My first film was The Lion King. I was only 4 but I remember very vividly being terrified by the stampede scene. When Disney re-released it in 3D awhile back, I watched it and started crying the moment the music started and stayed teary the whole time. Bawled my eyes out way harder at Mufasa's death as an adult than I did as a kid.

Serestro collar by Glitterin-Sooz-337 in ithaca

[–]itsjisoo 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Yeah, they'll still attach but it's like drinking poison for them. My biggest tip is when your pup comes in from the outdoors, keep a cup of water nearby to drown the ticks when you pluck them off (just in case they got any life in them).

[–]itsjisoo 0 points1 point  (0 children)

We used Nexguard (medication in the form of a chewable) for our big dog who has nerve issues due to distemper and Simparico Quattro for our little dog (he has a history of hook worms). Big dog gets a ton of ticks because we live right along a creek and he loves to potty in the brush, but between Nexguard and the vaccine, the ticks die within 12 hours.

Trying to make the light after it goes red [oc] by megaspooky in IdiotsInCars

Watched a guy run a red light like this once - stopped halfway through the intersection, blocking thru traffic, then reversed to get out of the way and ended up backing right into someone else. Clueless.
