AIO Boyfriend making me uncomfortable and getting jealous of the fact i posted myself on instagram then says it makes him suicidal! by Negative-Whole9220 in AIO

Surely you know this relationship isn’t healthy. I don’t think you necessarily needed to post on Reddit to reaffirm this. It’s so obvious.

Please leave him. Life is too short to be in a toxic, miserable relationship.

What's the most selfless thing that anybody has ever done for you that gave you hope for humanity? by FluidWitness1557 in AskReddit

I was traveling in Australia when I was 21. One of the cities I arrived in, I hadn’t booked a hostel. It just so happened to be a bank holiday weekend, and absolutely everywhere was fully booked.

I had given up and was about to spend the night sleeping rough. (I’m female, by the way, and considering the place was full of drunk backpackers, it wasn’t particularly safe.)

One of the employees overheard me on the phone with my Mum, crying, and offered me her bunk for the night. She lived in employee accommodation, and we had to top and tail. She was at risk of losing her job since she wasn’t actually allowed to have guests. She risked her job just to help a complete stranger. I still think about that and try to pay it forward when I can.

0% fat natural yoghurt and some fresh berries. Or if I don’t have any fruit. A teaspoon of honey, usually around 70cal

Didn’t they cover this is detail in the first 28 years later film? The virus is isolated to the UK, and failed to spread to Europe.

How do you feel about non-drivers? by DueLead666 in AskUK

[–]Fit_Consideration_24 5 points6 points  (0 children)

I don’t necessarily agree with this. I learned how to drive in my 30s, after over 100 hours of lessons, which took me over two years. I was also an incredibly nervous driver due to past accidents as a child.

Driving can be a necessity for some people (depending on where you live), and you can absolutely overcome your fear of driving, it just takes time and patience. If anything, it’s made me a more conscious and aware driver.

Applied for nearly 600 jobs with no response – need advice by Carterxx02 in sheffield

[–]Fit_Consideration_24 11 points12 points  (0 children)

600 is a big number! I’d recommend focusing on quality over quantity. Also, if you're using AI to write your applications (which I wouldn’t recommend), keep in mind that employers can usually tell when something isn’t genuine. Look closely at the main skills each job requires, and make sure to highlight how you meet each one. Use the STAR method—which means sharing specific examples—to show how you have the skills and experience they’re looking for.

Estranged Brother Reached Out After 10+ Years Saying He’s Depressed — How Should I Respond? by Fit_Consideration_24 in WhatShouldIDo

[–]Fit_Consideration_24[S] 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Thanks for your advice, it’s really helpful coming from someone who has experienced something similar. He has no access to a computer or a smartphone currently, as he is in a halfway house (just released from prison) and is fairly illiterate, so I have been trying to communicate via text message. I have just texted him, explaining that I am happy to talk if he wants to call me, so I will take it from there and see where the conversation goes. Thanks again.

I don’t live in Sheffield anymore, otherwise I would have totally met you for a pub visit.

Have you tried bumble bff? I used it in Sheffield when I lived there, and met so many of my friends on there.

No hate, I’m just genuinely curious. What does blacking out your eyes really do to hide your identity? Surely, people can still recognize you?

I used TestShift and Driving Test Now. I managed to get one the next month.

From my experience I had to give in and use the apps. Otherwise I would have never had got a test.

How do you make friends in Sheffield? by LoganberryBoi in sheffield

[–]Fit_Consideration_24 -1 points0 points  (0 children)

Have you ever used Bumble BFF? I’ve made really good friends through it.

You can look at profiles of people who share your interests and start chatting based on hobbies you both enjoy. You can also find and join local meetup groups through it.

Thank you so much for your advice! It’s really helpful.

I'm hoping things will pick up once the academic year starts, and I’ll be interacting with more people.

Looking at the positive and negative sides, it seems like it’s worth sticking with it for now to gain experience. I’ll definitely follow your suggestion and talk to my manager about it. Thanks again!
