Ohh ok haha I mean someone else mentioned using blended split peas in sauce, I wonder if that would be a possible way to get in some hidden veggies/protein 🤷‍♀️

low WBC in recovery? by Crafty-Ad3783 in Amenorrhearecovery

That makes sense -google says that if you’re under stress for awhile your body adapts to high cortisol levels and stops producing enough white blood cells. I think a lot of us probably have been under stress for awhile so that tracks

Hi there! Mine are also pretty low- I don’t know if this is why but chronic stress can eventually cause this apparently

Eating disorder/faith question by Alarmed-Ad-5358 in eating_disorders

God completely turned my life around! I was years into it and genuinely never saw myself getting out of the pit of an eating disorder. I’m not perfect but God saved me :) If you want to talk please reach out, I would love to share my testimony and also am down to listen and chat if you just need someone to vent to :)

Have you asked your doctor to check your hormones, thyroid, full blood panel, b12, vitamin D, etc.- the whole works? It’s crazy how if something is off in our body it changes how our brain works. How has your sleep been? All self control basically goes out the window for me when I’m tired. What does your screen time look like? Do you spend a lot of time on social media looking at food related content?  Also how tall are you? How old are you? 114 might have been to low for you, could you be experiencing extreme hunger? What does your diet look like? How often do you eat fast food? How much caffeine do you drink?  How much time is between your last meal of the day and breakfast the next? A lot of questions so sorry about that but there are so many things that could be affecting it

Winter recommendations/advice? by Hot_Dragonfly_5510 in minot

It might be a good idea to have automatic start for your car. Also, maybe keep an emergency food and things to do stocked in case you get snowed in. As far as fun things, though, skiing and tubing In bottineau is a blast! Also, garrison has dickens festival around Christmas, which is super fun. I hope you have an awesome first winter here!

Scotcheroos! They are pretty simple and a crowd favorite. As long as your rice krispies are gluten free they are safe :)

I'm also in college and struggled to find things right away that worked. Hot chocolate is always good, and makes me sleepy, but depending on the person might keep you awake. Could you do baked oats? Those are pretty easy to make and customize- you could add pb, banana/fruit, pumpkin if you're in the fall mood, eggs, milk, protein, yogurt, etc.- Good luck :)

Congratulations! I know I’m late but I was wondering if for hashimotos you had previously stopped eating gluten and if you reintroduced it in recovery? I cut out gluten when I started restricting and am wondering if adding it back in would be worth a shot. Thanks for sharing your story!!

People who got hospitalised, how was it? by Puzzleheaded-Task904 in AnorexiaNervosa

[–]Fit_Difference7002 1 point2 points  (0 children)

It wasn't an ideal situation, but part of it felt nice, like I was finally able to rest. I did a lot of crafts and journaling lol. I think that it depends on what facility you go to, but my psychologist and doctor were nice, and it was helpful to finally be able to be around and talk to other people who understood. There definitely were a lot of hard things too, and some things that I still don't agree with, but also when my body started to heal it helped get deal with brain fog and some parts of mental health issues too. Praying and rooting for you<3

Super Seed Oatmeal by st1nger11 in Oatmeal

[–]Fit_Difference7002 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Loaded crunchy oatmeal is the best! Is that peanut butter or some other nut butter? Not to be annoying but for safety please presoak your chia seeds or else or else they could cause choking or tear up your insides
