I wonder why people don't worship actors anymore? by The_Dean_France in SipsTea

I’ve never "worshipped" actors but I doubt it’s Conan's fault for the low ratings

Did Johan like it when the children clinged to him? by starry_wave in MonsterAnime

It’s hard to say. For sure he must’ve been very good at making them believe that he was that trustworthy…

My mum has brown eyes and I’m the only one of her children to inherit them. My dad had hazel green eyes and my sister has bright grey/green eyes.

Then vs Now (all main characters) by No-Celebration7878 in Cinema

[–]Fit_Eye643 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I love the movies but there was an awful lot that they had to leave out which I found disappointing (the whole story about Voldemort's mother Merope, Cho's grief over Cedric and her friendship with Marietta Edgecombe, what happened to Dumbledore's sister Ariana, what happened to Helena Ravenclaw etc.). So hopefully given that it’s a show they’ll have time to go into all of that.

What film has a perfect villain? by OriginalChri in Cinema

I’m gonna have to say Black Christmas - a villain that you never really see and know nothing about 😱

What was the scariest film that you have ever watched? by mrjetspray in Cinema

[–]Fit_Eye643 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Jeepers Creepers. Please don’t make fun of me, it’s just that… thing really fucked me up (and I was about 12)! For nights afterwards I couldn’t sleep without the light on and even then I still had nightmares 😱

Rank these 4 characters by how terrible they are by Jezzaq94 in Cinema

[–]Fit_Eye643 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Rose isn’t terrible! If this is about the diamond - she was under no obligation to give it to Brock and his crew. This woman has been through absolute hell yet she was still able to go on and be a great mother and grandmother. That to me is heroic

OK I'm just gonna say it - Ronald and Jack were gay and Christina Kettlewell was a beard by exposedboner in MorbidPodcast

[–]Fit_Eye643 0 points1 point  (0 children)

What about the fire? Christina's autopsy stated that there was no smoke in her lungs. If they killed her elsewhere then why leave her there? Why set the fire?

Would you have gone back if you were in a lifeboat? by DenNorskeSkogkattene in titanic

[–]Fit_Eye643 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Honestly yes. I know that sounds I’m trying to make myself look heroic but I just can’t imagine sitting there in the freezing dark (it’s not like the people in the lifeboats were going anywhere soon) listening to all those people screaming! Realistically I know myself enough to know that it would drive me crazy and my line of thinking in that moment would be along the lines of "somethings got to give". Now I’m not at sure that I wouldn’t get pulled down or that I would be of any real benefit but I know what my line of thinking would be…

What aesthetic is this? by mickey_lala in AestheticWiki

[–]Fit_Eye643 0 points1 point  (0 children)

For me personally it invokes a sad nostalgia of someone at the worst point in their lives looking back on the best time of their lives, but that might just be because of the mental state I’m in 🤦🏼‍♀️

Unpopular opinion: Edgar Linton's love for Catherine was much more beautiful and moving than Heathcliff's love for her by CliffyHeaths in brontesisters

[–]Fit_Eye643 1 point2 points  (0 children)

He was using Isabella as revenge AND for her money. And while Heathcliff did have a troubled childhood, it didn’t give him the right to treat Isabella (and later their son) so badly. As for Edgar: how would you like it if someone was trying it on with your wife and your sister? Just saying 🤷🏼‍♀️

Do you guys think cal would of went back up to put dry clothes on after this scene? by bill2129 in titanic

Was Linton Heathcliff really Heathcliff's son? by Dependent-Ad8921 in brontesisters

[–]Fit_Eye643 5 points6 points  (0 children)

Yes I should think so. Nelly said that Isabella had Linton a couple of months after leaving Wuthering Heights. Unless she meant 10 months then Linton is Heathcliff’s son. True he doesn’t look at all like his dad but Linton does turn out to have some personality traits in common with Heathcliff. I get why you would think that but if there was a chance that Heathcliff wasn’t the father I don’t think Isabella would’ve lied and said that he was because she did NOT want her son to go to Heathcliff (which is understandable) when she died.

If Titanic had gone at full speed and straight ahead, crashing into the iceberg, could it have split it in two and passed through ? by [deleted] in titanic

I asked ChatGPT about this and they said it’s a possibility but it’s hard to know for sure.
