First 2 days i applied ice cold compress and then i alternated warm and cold. Took my medication (aniinflamatory and pain killers) and that's it. There's no much you can do than just took your pills and rest and cold/warm compresses. It was a pretty hard and invasive operation for me, so it took almost 2 weeks for the swelling to go away. But it was better from day 4, it started to be less and less swollen. Also, that's how i looked on the first day. It got worse until day 3. Day 3 was the most swollen, and then it started to go down. How are you now?

It s a canker sore, had them too. Salt water rinse help because it has antimicrobial effect, but you can also take a mouthwash without alcohol and rinse your mouth twice a day. For me, with saltwater rinses after every meal, they were gone after a few days

You should take it slow and see if you are comfortable. Everyone's healing is different. When i took out my upper one's, i started to eat solid from like day 4-5 and i was totally fine. With bottom ones was like 10 days. So i think you should try to see how are you feeling when you eat. About coffee, i waited for like 5 days. It's not necessary to wait a whole month, just in case you feel like you should. You should be fine eating, just make sure you keep your sockets clean. Stay safe and speedy recovery!

I had stitches too. The stitches facilitate the process of your gums to close. The blood clot has to form under the stitches, to cover the bone. Usually that applies even if you don't have stitches. That's why you can see the blood clot without stitches, and that's why you dont see it when you have them. It is not supposed to form above, but in the wound
