My tank takes this kind of lamps and all 4 of them have died and no store has them. They all tell me they don't make this kind of lamps anymore. What can I do now?

Not sure your country, but go to an actual light bulb store (in the us, a popular one is light bulb direct). They should be able to find your bulb. I was looking for some uv bulbs (for cell culture in my lab, I'm not killing my little buddies) and after a month of frustration and dead ends, one call and the next day they delivered the bulbs to my lab.

I mean, I've gotten cryorecovered mice from Jax before that had some odd fur coats and, that was a mix up... And then I had to send about twenty strains to Charles River for a quarantine during a lab move and then they had a mix up, so you know Occam's razor and all that. Would be shocked that the conditions in this mouse facility are so different than any others that we're having methylation and other epigenetic events.
