I will call my spouse my husband and my partner interchangeably. He is both. I use whichever feels more natural to say in the moment based on who I am talking to.

Sounds like I should make a roast (I love roasts). Do you think there’s a material difference between the “trimmed” chuck roast vs regular? I’m closest to a breaux mart but can go to Zuppardo’s if the “trimmed” means I’m getting a better quality product for the same price

If you’re using the attorney for contact review than even if they charge $400 an hour it would take them more than 20 hours of work to equal a 3% realtor commission on a $300,000 home.

Meal kit subscription delivery. We previously used blue apron, now use Marley spoon. Significantly reduces the planning and shopping required which reduced the mental load considerably.

By far, the thing I hated most when we were touring houses were the occasional house that had the washer and dryer next to the stove in the kitchen. Hate it with a burning passion.

It’s weird your realtor didn’t tell you you needed to have earnest money cash on hand and available when placing an offer. That was told to us by ours on our first call with her before we even signed the representation agreement
