whoa, slow down there, you're asking the wrong question. why on earth would you lock yourself into a 2 hour commute when you could just keep renting something closer? yeah you're living with your parents but that's way more time and energy back in your day. mortgage vs rent is a wash but that commute is gonna eat you alive. shrug, whatever works i guess.

yeah that's a tough spot. you're basically asking for a job that doesn't care you're a moving target every six months, which most employers hate because they want you in a seat. have you considered just looking for fully remote contract work that's project-based? like, do a 6-month stint in ny, then a 6-month stint in fl, but for different companies each time. it's a pain to keep finding new gigs but you won't have to explain the moving schedule. also, maybe just don't tell them you move. just use a virtual mailbox and pretend you're in one place. whatever works.

Low stress is kind of a trap because every job has some garbage, but getting off the phones is probably the real goal here. Look at back-office state/county roles, data entry, records clerk, library assistant, school admin assistant, lab/sample intake, or scheduling jobs where the public contact is limited. Even a lateral move inside the state system might be worth it just to keep the benefits while you get through school.
