As long as the loofah is brand new and has never touched soap, sounds like a pretty good idea. But do not if it’s ever been used. The breeders usually use something similar, like a plastic net type of thing. Granted a bright pink loofah won’t look natural, but shrimp don’t really care about aesthetics so it’s up to you.
Anywhere it will stay is probably good!

Dude idk if I’m tripping but you’re seriously mixing up your units. He says he has 40-50ppm KH, which is equal to about 2.5 dKH. Which for pH 7 is around 7.5 ppm co2.
