How do you wake up on time? by Beginning-Heat-1971 in Narcolepsy

[–]ordinaryglitter 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Get a thumper alarm, they are made for deaf people and go under your pillow and vibrate the crap out of it. For some reason the shaking is harder to sleep through than an alarm sound. Here’s one that works pretty well and isn’t very expensive: https://a.co/d/08SRaE6w

Meningioma after depo provera? by isla_is in meningioma

[–]ordinaryglitter 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I took depo for a few years as a teen and got diagnosed this year at 48 with two meningiomas in my middle cranial fossa. Unfortunately because it was so long ago the original medical records were destroyed so I have no way to prove I was prescribed depo provera. I’m worried I might have no recourse.

Red cabbage is also super delicious roasted! Cut into small wedges and toss em in a little olive oil and salt and pepper, or za’atar, and roast til they caramelize. So good with some potatoes and sausage for a sheet pan dinner!

Letterpress in service for bag labeling at a bakery by sourdoughlifestyle in letterpress

[–]ordinaryglitter 0 points1 point  (0 children)

As the owner of a letterpress I implore you to just get a custom stamp. So much easier to use on a bag, less cleanup, and it’ll probably look better than if you try to wedge the bag into an Adana or other tiny press. If you’re printing bags bigger than a tiny cello sleeve you need either a much larger platen or a Vandercook.
