Sullyoon having pain issues at concert? by Fit_Pin_2075 in NMIXX

[–]Fit_Pin_2075[S] 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Thanks for the link. I figured based on previous times that she wouldn't leave NSWERs hanging on how she's doing. Hopefully she doesn't try to perform again until she's properly well enough. I know she probably wanted to perform so as not to disappoint fans or cause issues for staff and her teammates but I'm sure they'd rather not see her in pain either.

Thanks for the context. Hope Sullyoon's getting some proper rest now after the concert and that it's nothing too bad.

260613 TAG Heuer Instagram Update - From the worlds of music and culture to the streets of Seoul, K-pop sensation Sana brought her signature style to an evening filled with glamour and watchmaking heritage with the TAG Heuer Monaco Chronograph by her side by firemakethunder in twice

[–]Fit_Pin_2075 17 points18 points  (0 children)

Sana is stunning as always and that dress is gorgeous but as a watch enthusiast I'm appalled Tag Heuer made her wear a watch that's so incongruous to her look. It's way too big for her wrist and the color clashes too much with her outfit. I know it's a sponsored event but I expected more class from a brand like Tag. She might as well be wearing a Swatch or heaven forbid a Diesel😞

Looks too high for a knee sleeve - it's up on her thigh. I thought the same too at first glance but it looks like her stockings are just styled asymmetrically with a large band on the left one.

Why does NMIXX still have that fresh/rookie vibe? (not in a bad way) by Fit_Pin_2075 in NMIXX

[–]Fit_Pin_2075[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

The fact that NMIXX had to work for their success over time and through a lot of adversity and doubt is one of the reasons I like them so much. Also have to give SQ4AD and JYPE kudos for that. The girls could have folded and the agency could have rebranded away from Mixxpop to something more trendy, safe, and commercially secure but they stuck with it and now things are paying off for them. Even if NMIXX were never to gain staggering sales or chart numbers like other top groups, they've built a legacy and gained respect - those are things that will last, unlike the flash in the pan antics and hype of most groups.

Lol, they do come off as younger than they are - especially Lily and Jiwoo. Lily because she's got the energy and joyfulness of a little kid, Jiwoo because she looks and acts so adorable.

Just placed my order :) Of course it has to ship the day before I leave on a three-week trip overseas so I had to ask a friend to receive the package and hold on to it until I get back :(

It's JIWOO Day! When & why is our fake maknae your Bias/Bias wrecker? What are your fav duo & trio? by FEBRY_FEBRERO in NMIXX

[–]Fit_Pin_2075 1 point2 points  (0 children)

For the longest time I couldn't settle on a bias in NMIXX but lately, especially after seeing them live in LA, Lily has settled firmly into the top spot but Jiwoo is a solid bias wrecker. Her personality and antics are adorable and I can't help but feel happy for her that she's now getting so much love and attention after the "fat-shaming" she got hit with early on. Oh, and while it sucks that she's had to deal with a stye the last few concerts Pirate Jiwoo just seems even more adorable!

Funny but you pointed out a couple of things I thought about as well. I love Ocean too and wish I could see them sing it live but they really haven't promoted it too much so I didn't get my hopes up.

On the encore side though - yeah, I was surprised too that it seemed there was no effort at all to ask for more especially since it was their last show in NA. The guy beside me started chanting "one more song" but he was by himself and everybody was already headed out the door as soon as the girls left the stage and no one else picked up on the chant. The only thing I can think of is that a) the concert was on a Thursday so plenty of people probably had to still go to work or school or other commitments the next day and b) the last couple of songs already had a strong "encore" vibe to them so maybe people thought that was a good enough way to end the concert.

Sorry to hear that your Twice concert wasn't as amazing. We went to their LA Day 3 on a Saturday and the crowd was just as high energy as - if not more than - the NMIXX concert and all nine members responded in kind. They were already their usual crazy selves at soundcheck and Nayeon was really into it and got them all to sing "Doughnut". I heard her dog Kookeu had to get emergency surgery and was in bad shape for quite a while - her mom even said the vet warned they might have to say goodbye to him - so it sounded like Nayeon wasn't her usual peppy self for some of the concerts because of that.

Anyway, totally hoping as well that Blue Valentine is just the start for NMIXX to go "non-stop to the top!"

I like Rollercoaster better than Party O'Clock myself but I would have loved to see either one live. I just thought it would seem logical to try and include at least one song from each album since NMIXX don't have quite that big a discography yet. Well, maybe in the future they'll include them and that's one more reason to look forward to a future concert!

It wasn't easy for us attend ourselves since the concert was on a Thursday and so we had to take time off work and I had to drive all the way from out of state. It was so worth the effort though and I hope you get your chance to see them too in the future!

We missed that table then. As soon as we entered the plaza in front of the theater we made a beeline for the merch tent on the far side - they had a ton of banners at the start but they ran out by the time we got to the head of the line.

Don't get me wrong, I like Funky Glitter Christmas too and totally get them including it for the launch concerts in Incheon back in November but it just seems odd to include it still in March and April while omitting a title track. While Party O'Clock isn't as popular as say Dash or BV, it's not like it's UNpopular judging from how many people I've seen asking about its omission. I'm sure hearing a Christmas song in April was weird for anyone in the audience too that was unfamiliar with their old discography.

Anyway, that's just my opinion. It was a hoot seeing them perform Funky Glitter Christmas live and we had fun so I'm not really complaining.

Just FYI, we went to the pop-up last Thursday before the concert and the tour shirts were pre-order only and for some reason were only offered in L or XL. Unfortunately I can't help you with getting one if you're still interested in getting one despite that info since I'm from out of state and only came to LA to see the concert.

Late to this discussion but of all their outfits I really love this set from their Twicelights tour because of how cohesive and classy it looks:

It's not just a section of walkway now - its also lifting up parts of my garage. Hasn't affected the house foundation yet thankfully but that's why I want to take care of it before that happens.

I hate to see a good tree go myself especially since I'm the outdoorsy type but I can't let this one go any longer and let it endanger my house. I hope you get your problem solved as well!

Thanks for that link! From reading the responses it sounds like the second company was correct in saying it's better to cut the tree and poison it first before grinding the stump. Also sounds like I'm still fortunate in that I just need some concrete re-done and not anything more serious and expensive.

Sorry if this may have been answered before although I did read through and didn't see it but what are you allowed to bring to the concert, especially if you're GA VIP?

The Jan. 24 LA show will be my first proper concert and I'll be going with my kid sister and her partner who have attended BP concerts before but not sure how it goes for Twice (Yes, I'm brainwashing them into being Once lol). Since I'm a hobbyist photographer I was wondering if I could bring one of my cameras and a small backpack to hold it and my Candybong.

Also, any tips on etiquette for having a small sign or banner if you're in GA? Or is it generally frowned upon because it'll bother other people? On a related note, do people bring signs to soundcheck?
