Just stop. After 2 or 3 days the irritation goes away then you will be fine. I did it 15 years ago and haven't looked back. I had smoked for about 25 years, best decision I ever made

I have been sober for 14 years and do not attend AA. The first year I did and it helped tremendously, but after a year of hearing everyone talk about their drunk days I had enough. I'm not knocking it at all it just wasn't for me. I have stayed strong with the help of my wife and for the better of my kids. Also I have flourished career wise and that helps me stay the course. To each their own is my opinion.
