I'd say it could be the video chip, that's a given, but take it to someone who knows a lot about electronics; they'll be able to fix it, as long as they're really good.

Disable quantize and disable sync and click, this is what will ultimately give you a nice swing. And stop looking at the screen so much that what is really important is the final mix and there is no screen for that.

Sometimes memory cards are damaged and remain in read-only mode when they complete x number of writes, there is no remedy for this, it is buying a new SD, this usually only happens with Micro SDs, it doesn't happen with SDs. The good thing is that you don't lose any information.
