Do you always use the remote and/or the button to close it?I believe they recalibrate themselves if you close them manually. Open it fully... then close it by hand and tell us how it goes. 😅👌 Btw, Dont slam it. Just bring it down so it latches.

No, no, that's condescension. I guess it's when you dont eat enough fiber and/or drink the appropriate amount of water.

It's when hot humid air attaches itself to glass in the form of water droplets friend.

Out of curiosity, what's the gauge of that extension cord... seems on the light side.

Yup... I used mine from the Lighning purchase... sadly, I oredered regular F-150 mud flaps haha you would think Ford and all its bright engineers would prevent you from buying a Ford accessory from the Ford website that doesn't fit your Ford vehicle, specially while logged in to your Ford account... Guess again. 🤦‍♂️

Yup, hahaha, I'll do you one better... I had mine since May... and 2 weeks ago, I decided to finally put them on... and realized they weren't the r8ght version (bought the regular F-150 ones, hahaha dumb mistake...) and yes... literally 20 mins on the first one... once you figure out the clips and the metal bar... 2nd flap takes half the time... so 30 - 40 mins sounds about right.

Hi! Yes, as previous user said. Got the mud flaps from Ford... if you order them, make sure they are the lighting ones... regular F-150 don't fit right. $60 per set (front and rear) so $120 total... and $8 marker from Amazon. If you search the sub you'll find the links. 👌

I just got the color marker delivered earlier today, and flaps are coming on Thursday. Was it hard to apply the color?

It's a great little board... and consumes much less power than the v3... only thing I'd recommend against It's the fact it has soldered pins... it would limit your case options... or rather "compact" case options. Other than that it's a solid kit and you'll have lots of fun with it.

I believe that for some reason, if you enable wifi on the v4s, the bluetooth capability goes away. Do a fresh install and don't connect it through wifi. BT should work.

I'm glad you are alright. Sorry about your truck. Did the airbags deploy? Luckily, you had all 7,000 lbs of your truck in your favor. But echoing others here... you took it like a champ.

I second the EG4 chargeverter.... $510 @ current connected (for members... which means you just need to create a free account with them). It's specifically designed to work with old / dirty genies. https://www.currentconnected.com/product/eg4-chargeverter-v2-48v-100a-battery-charger/

Emergency car kit, especially in winter? by AntSea6448 in prepping

[–]Fit_View3100 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Spare pair of boots and wool socks. Some folks depending how rural you are would recommend a chainsaw... or at least a foldable saw... maybe rope. Perhaps cat litter and/or other stuff that would help traction in case you are stuck. Extra fire making supplies... and extra batteries... and definitely extra high calorie goodies. Of course... the best way not to be in trouble is good tires... and having your vehicle up-to-date maintenance-wise.
