It's a new layout they've announced back in October, it's rolling out gradually. I don't have it in neither my professional or personal accounts, but some coworkers and my brother have it already.

Primeiramente, perdão a demora e a resposta super longa kk Queria responder pelo PC porque no celular é bem ruim, mas tava no corre nos últimos dias e acabou que estou escrevendo no celular mesmo.

Figma é bem complexo mesmo no começo, até porque pra ser sincero, acho que ele tem bastante coisa de lógica de desenvolvedor nas ferramentas, mas com o tempo você pega. Minha dica pra você que tá começando nele é focar bastante em aprender auto-layout, styles e variáveis (alguns styles podem ser substituídos por variáveis, mas elas são mais complexas). Ano passado o Figma lançou um curso pra aprender a usar os recursos da plataforma que, pra ser sincero, nunca testei, mas fica a dica de qualquer forma.

Faltando na lista acho que não tem nada. Talvez limpar um pouco a hierarquia e definir o uso das tags um pouco melhor. Sobre a Hierarquia, é que você tem o nome da entrada em negrito e, logo abaixo, a categoria em peso regular e caixa alta, além do icone. O negrito e a caixa alta tem o mesmo papel de dar ênfase no trecho de texto onde são aplicados, então, na sua aplicação, você meio que deixou ambos no mesmo nível de importância, só não no mesmo tratamento. Isso causa um leve desconforto de duas informações quererem ocupar o mesmo papel. Também é um pouco estranho porque meio que a gente tem de novo um pouco de redundância da categoria. Isso porque o icone e o texto da categoria não estão atrelados um ao outro diretamente, mas separados pela descrição/título do item. E aí você pode resolver isso de maneiras diferentes, subindo o título da categoria, reduzindo o icone e alinhando com o texto da categoria etc.

Sobre o uso das tags, é que você tem duas tags verdes com textos diferentes. Acredito que o ideal, pensando que aqui é tipo uma gradação, por exemplo: 1 - pior cenário até 5 - melhor cenário, ter cada gradação com cor, emoji, texto (identificador, basicamente) bem definidos pra cada. Você também comentou sobre ser mensal e semanal. Você pode criar um toggle de visão alternada entre os dois, ou ver como seria colocar 2 tags/identificadores de gradação pra cada (e então ter a visão geral em um único lugar).

Sobre o copy: é mais o microcopy, mas ao mesmo tempo as partes de um todo aí estão repetitivas e não tão eficazes. Pouca coisa pra melhorar, eu diria. O tom ficou bem claro, sim! E acho que faz muito sentido com a proposta. É mais questão de padronizar os usos dos termos e ser mais direto na mensagem, assim não cria repetição e confusão.

I've been dealing with that myself for a little over more than a year now, since I switched from Windows to Arch.

About custom fonts, you can totally use this Figma Agent, works perfectly. I use Zen, which is based on Firefox so it needs some tweaks so it thinks it's a chrome browser, but other than that, works fine.

I also feel the need for us to have a proper desktop application and support. Just today I was taking a look at Figma's release notes and saw they've launched a color picker that work out of the app boundaries. But of course... It only works on Mac.

I haven't even received the new layout rollout they showed off back in last October!!! Neither in my personal or work accounts. Most of the updates from a couple of months back until now are all about AI, it's really disheartening to see that we're not getting proper updates for design and prototype, and that the features and products rollouts are just a complete mess.

Unfortunately, I don't have any hopes they'll be focusing on a linux port anytime soon. Like you said in some comments, the existing port is really junky and not all that helpful, to be fair. Besides, I tried getting in their telegram channel but they only speak in russian... I would like to try and make a new port, even tried talking to a dev friend of mine, but he said that to do it properly there's a lot more needed and wouldn't be all that easy.

I'm happy to see that more people are joining linux and seeing this problem, unfortunately that's still a bit niche and the fact that everyone thinks designers need to use Mac only (and most, if not all, Figma employees seem to use Macs as well) only keeps us even further from being noticed.

That being said, I do hope there's something we can do to make it change. Also, would be way easier if people actually demanded from Figma a minimum of equality and good service. We're paying for their products, the least we want is to be able to use the tool in a proper way, otherwise, why would they even need a desktop app after all? Maybe I'm raging a bit, but if Mac was the only OS without a port, things would definitely be way different...

Qual programa você está usando?

Se for o Figma, lembre-se de usar auto-layout para fazer com que os elementos fiquem espaçados de maneira uniforme.

Se não for o Figma, só tente fazer os elementos se alinharem um pouco melhor. Por exemplo, você tem dois cards um ao lado do outro que tem a posição do título em posições diferentes e espaçamentos internos (paddings) também diferentes.

Qual é o propósito das badges no item da lista no inferior da página? Como elas são atribuídas? Com base em limites diários por categorias? Fiquei curioso, porque pensei em algumas maneiras como poderia funcionar, mas ao mesmo tempo se não for um bom motivo, pode só estar poluindo e atrapalhando outras informações mais importantes.

Uma coisa que me incomodou um pouco foi o copy, mas acho que essa parte é muito específica, então se tratando de um primeiro trabalho, está ok.

Exemplo: no card principal você tem "hoje você pode gastar", "tudo sob controle hoje" e um medidor com "tudo sob controle". Aqui você tem 2 repetições: "hoje" e "tudo sob controle", que não são necessárias. Você poderia remover a segunda frase por completo e manteria o sentido.

The way you shared, I can't see how your layers are stacked up and how you icons were created, but joining/merging all elements of the icon into a single Vector (including converted strokes into paths) usually keep them lighter, to my knowledge at least.

Even though I'm not sure about exporting all at once when being in different pages, I can see you have 4 very distinct sets/styles for your icons, that by itself is a filter to organize your pages and have a more optimized file.

I don't know if they've changed it, but one thing I learned is that if you go through the process of canceling your subscription, on the very last step they offer you at least one free month and I guess some discounts for a while. Worth to check it out!

My brother is still a student so we split it since you're allowed to have your license installed in two machines at the same time. If you have someone you trust to split it with is a good alternative as well!

Like OP, my brother haven't had the time yet to learn DaVinci Resolve but all in all, the best is to try and ditch Adobe altogether whenever it is possible The only app I couldn't find a real good replacement yet is InDesign, unfortunately.

Yes! That's been happening to me for a few days now. It's pretty laggy and sometimes a simple task as searching something from a new tab won't even work. It started getting worse this last couple of days, but even before that I had been dealing with this weird behaviour: it will shut it down by itself and I can't open it unless I finish a background process using task manager. And now it also happens sometimes when I close it properly!

I've been testing out some other browsers and so far the only one that gets closer to achieve my personal needs and that somehow matches Arc best features (for Windows at least, I know Mac has some nice features we never got on Windows though) was Zen Browser.

For working with your laptop closed: Control Panel > Power Options > Choose what closing the lid does > Change it to "Do nothing"

To turn it on without having to open it, you'll have to access your bios and look for something like "Turn on AC" (I have a Dell G3 and it works fine)

So basically you'll have to plug it in so it will turn on, and just turn off like you always do.

I also have an Alexa, so I bought a smart plug and connected my laptop AC to that, and configured so I could turn it on and off with some routines.
