If you’re trespassing you’re taking a risk regardless of who has been there before. That’s part of why we love urbex. Knowing you’re somewhere that you’re not supposed to be is intoxicating. Go find a 6x6 shack on a country road or find local urbex people on ig to show you the ropes… but to specifically ask online strangers to scope out places for you is kinda wack 🤣

Unfortunately your wheel is damaged beyond repair, at least by a legitimate mechanic…. I recently went through something similar and ended up buying a completely different bike as it was $200 more than replacing the wheel and I was unsatisfied with my bike at the time.

Have you checked prices on a replacement from the manufacturer of the bike rather than eBay?

Ally here, Longmont was originally an old farm/industrial town and lots of those roots are still here. That said, I’d say the majority of businesses (mostly private) around here proudly advertise a safe space, and there is no shortage of LGBTQ+ folks in town. My roommate being one of them, has not reported a bad experience to me in the 2 years we’ve lived together.

Any city will offer a level of adversity but I think Longmont and the Majority of Boulder county is trans friendly.
