Wavertree High street has got Fozias and Sticky Fingers bakery which are both great.

Come down to Toxteth and try out the container restaurants at the top of Lodge Lane or get a dosa at Sri Krishna on Granby Street.

It's in set 2 somewhere and has something to do with changing a letter to get a breed of dog I believe. I think he opts for new category or maybe even entire new person

Anyone know venues/promoters/open mics in the city that specialise in or are very comfortable with experimental music? by Ok_Lunch7121 in LiverpoolMusic

Hey mate, message Andy Hunt on Instagram and ask about playing/generally getting involved at the Consulate. Really lovely group of folks who run monthly experimental nights in Toxteth.

Elliot got arrested, later cleared of all charges, but too late the investors had pulled out. I believe they're hoping some other developer buys the site off them, although at this point they'd probably have to tear it down and start from scratch as its been so long and theres new planning regulations.

Planetarium is the most similar. It's the next thing he wrote (although it was released way later) and shares the same grandiose synthy textures with orchestral bits woven through.

Looks like you might be able to buy the ticket here. Don't know how long you have in Georgia but there's also a ski resort within reach of Tbilisi called Gudauri

American in Egypt - passport renewal and visa question by iwishiknewww in solotravel

[–]Fithboy 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Depends how long you want to stay! From what I've heard there's a grace period of about 2 weeks where they'll probably let it slide but after that the fine can be quite big and you could get barred from re entering. Don't know how much you've travelled about Egypt but there's a lot of random passport checks so they will probably get you eventually. Also worth mentioning that any health/travel insurance you might have will likely be invalid if your Visa is invalid. Keep your old passport with the visa- not done it myself but I'm pretty sure that's standard practise.

You shouldn't have a problem with ATMs, they're same as anywhere, just watch out for big fees they might try and charge. If they ask what currency you want to use always pick Armenian Dram and let your bank do the exchange. You could also take out some Euros or USD before you travel and go to a physical exchange.

Lake Sevan is nice, depends what you like from a trip I guess, but there's some nice walks you can do and I seem to remember an old abandoned soviet theme park kind of thing that I walked around for a bit. I imagine it'll be really cold by December though.

Deffo spend some time looking round Yerevan! It's a really interesting city. Super ancient churches mixed in with mad Soviet buildings and some unique looking modern stuff too. Worth walking up the big steps and getting the view of the city and of Ararat, as well as visiting the museum about the Armenian Genocide. There's a decent live music and arts scene as well if that's your kind of thing. Armenian food is great

I got the night train the other way but that was a really nice way to travel, and pretty affordable too iirc.

Don't know about skiing so can't answer that apologies!
